I can't believe I'm just now discovering this hidden gem here in Tri-Cities. If you're like me, love a great Brazilian steak house where servers walk table to table with rotisserie cuts still on the skew, this is the restaurant for you. Begin with the salad bar has various salads, vegetables, and starches to choose from. (And and bowl of thick, sweet and spicy bacon that's absolutely delicious!) The restaurant is charming, with echoing images and artifacts of a Brazilian ranch. We met Callie, the head chef. It's evident she takes immense pride in her restaurant and the food served to perfection! It was her engagement with us that helped made our dining experience more memorable. If you haven't eaten here yet, you're missing out. Oh, and Carnaval is March 11th. (21 and older) Get your tickets. We are!

I have been to Boiada several times, and the experience has always been great, but tonight they outdid themselves. We ordered "Rodizio Churrasco," which begins with the soup and salad bar and continues with a large assortment of grilled meats, each brought on a large skewer and carved at the table. My guests had never been to Boiada before and were amazed at both the quantity and the quality of the food; I think there must have been 14 or 15 different types of meat plus grilled pineapple (a big hit!). Our "meat server," Ruben, kept us well supplied and also had a nice sense of humor, which enriched the experience. Our "table server," Gwen, was also excellent. Besides being friendly, helpful, and attentive, she gave some great recommendations. For instance, we enjoyed Brazilian lemonade with mango and Brazilian coffee. Since we were celebrating a birthday, the restaurant also gave the choice of a free dessert -- in this case, chocolate lava cake with ice cream. All in all, Boiada made our special occasion unforgettable.

Everything was amazing, got seated as soon as we walked through the door we genuinely couldn't have asked for any better service, I genuinely don't see what the negative reviews are all about, our server and host were both super attentive, It had been our first time trying this style of restaurant, our host Raphael was really helpful with how the food worked and gave us recommendations, he was constantly on top of helping with drinks and checking in on us amazing host over all would give him a 5 star rating on his own, the salad bar was great everything was stocking up and at good temperature, it all looked sooo good and tasted even better, next our server Kali was great aswell constantly bringing us fresh cuts of everything super attentive honestly she might possibly have over fed us lol, but the food was always hot and delicious, she was also great about explaining all the different meats and the cooking style. I see alot of people keep saying it was really salty, which its not its just a specific cooking style and they is more corse salt so it stands out a bit more, but still very much properly cooked and seasoned overall again Kali's service its self could get 5 stars. Over all the environment was nice great little spot for a dinner has smooth and nice music wasn't to loud so we could still talk and enjoy our meal I, we definitely look forward to our next visit.!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. My husband and I got the Brazilian Barbecue and were able to enjoy a number of different meats including pork, a variety of steak cuts all seasoned to perfection, lamb, chicken, shrimp, and even some cinnamon grilled pineapple to aid in digestion (What we were told). The servers were on top of it with the meat cuts and were also kind and professional. To top it all off, the salad bar offered even more variety. I enjoyed a strawberry salad, broccoli soup, and the best bacon I have had! It's expensive, but now that I know my favorite meat, I would go back and get the lighter meal. This choice gives you one meat and the salad bar and is much more affordable.

Great food. Great service. Very quiet ambiance. Each selection was great, although the shrimp is not worth taking up room in your tummy.

Bring your appetite! If you can't eat a lot it's not worth the money. The salad bar is bomb if you're not a big eater. Food is very tasty!

Always seems a tad darker than necessary, rather dated and overdue for a renovation. The Richland locations have a warmer vibe. The music playing didn't earn any kudos for a couple reasons. First, it was just at the edge of loud enough to be distracting. Second, the playlist seemed more appropriate for a much younger audience than the overwhelming majority of the clientele in the house at the time. Ambience, all in? - 3 stars. The food? She had the one-trip salad bar and said it was pretty good but nothing especially noteworthy. She said - 4 stars. Mine, meh, predictable, ok, but unremarkable bordering on forgettable. Some things were a tad salt heavy, others were seemingly unseasoned altogether. Mine - 3 stars. I opted for a baked potato. It came out seemingly over-baked because the flesh had to be carved away from the inside of the skin. It wasn't that carb-lovers baked spud, which was disappointing. When I told the manager of the great service we had received, he said he was glad to hear that. Then, I mentioned the potato and how it had come out, but instead of any acceptance, he got defensive about how "that's the way we make them here" or something to that effect, and basically dismissed my comment. Attitude? Yeah, not so much. - 2.5 stars. All in, we both felt like we should have driven the extra 15 minutes and gone to either Richland location. My bad. That's on me. - ZERO stars for my poor decision. Lesson learned. - All in - a 3 star average.

A Mixed Bag with Room for Improvement (2.5/5)…read more We visited Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar for lunch and left with mixed feelings. While a couple of items stood out for decent flavor, the overall experience, especially the service and value, didn't quite meet expectations for a mid-range bistro. What We Ordered: 1. Fried Calamari - Lightly crispy and seasoned well enough, but the portion was small for the ~$20 price tag. The artichokes and pickled onions on the side were a nice touch and helped round out the dish. 2. Avocado Toast - Served as four half-slices of toast with a thin spread of avocado--decent, but underwhelming. The scrambled eggs were passable but felt commercial. The arugula salad on the side was overdressed and heavy on cheese, likely gorgonzola. 3. Steak Salad - The steak cubes were overcooked and arrived cold, which was the biggest disappointment. Though the salad greens were fresh and plentiful, the dish was heavy on cashews, and the cheese flavor was intense. 4. Breakfast Burrito with Fries - I didn't try this personally, but our friend said it was not memorable. The fries looked average--crispy but nothing special. ‍ Service: Service was polite but lacked attentiveness. After being seated, we waited about 10-15 minutes to receive a drink order. Only two glasses were brought out for three people, and when our appetizer arrived, no utensils were provided. We had to request basics that should have been automatically offered. We did appreciate the server accommodating our request to change tables for better sun however. Ambience: The interior had a retro-upscale family restaurant vibe--maybe reminiscent of a 1990s aesthetic. Some might find the design nostalgic, though it felt a little dated to us. The lighting fixtures were interesting and varied in design, which added a little flair. Pricing falls into the $30-40 range per person with an appetizer, so expectations were naturally higher. Final Thoughts: Twigs Bistro has potential, but inconsistencies in food quality, small portions for the price, and inattentive service made the visit less than ideal. While we enjoyed some elements like the calamari and fresh greens, it's not a place we'd prioritize returning to--especially given the number of great dining options in the area.
