My wife has been here a few times to try some of their meals. She has found them to be good. So, we gave them a try. I will admit that the portion sizes are larger than we expected. For a large family, having a generous portion size is very important! The service was helpful and friendly. I want to say that I've not really had good experiences at conveniences stores. I will say that my experience at Latitudes is better than I've had at others, which is why I have given it 3 out of 5 (that's better than what I've experienced elsewhere), and that I've only been there once. Once you get past this place being a little tricky to get into, you step inside an incredibly different world. As you walk in, employees greet you with a polite, warm welcome. They are dressed nicely, communicate clearly, and are very knowledgeable with the contents and products of their store. This shop seemed to have even the smallest of toiletries or groceries necessary to help you with your afternoon barbecue or spontaneous grocery run. Update. First of all, thank you Ron for returning my call. It is rare to find someone willing to help. It was pleasant to talk to Ron, the owner. He listened and took what I had to say. He said he was going I address it, "...we don't do business that way, and I'm sorry". Thank you so much again for being human. I had went in on my own, to buy some snacks. I am a bald Latino with a few tattoos, honestly 3 that are not hidden. I chose to use the self checkout, it was only 2 items. As I'm walking to the self checkout, what appears to be a manager who was holding a clipboard, team Tells one of the attendants to watch me. I could team tell the attendant wasn't comfortable with it. I checked out and walked out feeling a bit angry. But since I was already profiled once, I figured I better not say anything, they might call the police on me, and I have disabilities. So note to anyone that is Latino, make sure you have hair, otherwise you might have someone following you to be sure you don't steal a $2 candy. read more

I don't know if it's weird that I have a favorite gas station, but Latitudes is 100% my favorite hands down. They have everything you could possibly want from a convenience store, liquor, coffee and soda fountains galore, super clean bathrooms, Mac's steak in the rough for people looking for more than a snack, AND a car wash with free vacuums included! I live on the East Side of ABQ but anytime I'm on the west side I make an effort to stop by to grab some Tornados (they are delicious and consistently temperature checked) and a round through the car wash. My absolute favorite place to fuel up! The gas prices here are the best you'll find, plus if you pay cash or debit you'll save even more. It's usually fairly busy but there are lots of pumps to accommodate everyone and keep the flow moving. The pumping area is nice and well maintained and there's always washer fluid and paper towels for my window cleaning convenience. Inside there is so much stuff! From the second you walk in you get a friendly greeting and as you peruse the aisles of stuff you didn't even know you needed you discover things like fresh fruits and vegetables, a coffee bar stocked with lots of flavors and coffee extras, hot burritos, a liquor section and even a small restaurant in the back. read more

A few things have happened here that make me willing to drive a bit out of the way (or at least take a different route home) to fill up here. One my dad observed an interaction where someone stole something (likely food). He overheard the staff kindly (and quietly) saying, "please don't steal again, just ask and we will get you some food," while passing the shoplifter something to eat. The other nice thing is that I asked if they'd donate postcards (51) for a class project I was doing I quickly got a reply and was able to go in and my postcards were waiting for me behind the counter. First time here, ordered the chicken pesto panini with potato salad after filling up the gas tank. The potato salad is ok, a little mushy. The panini was delicious, it came with a lot of red peppers, half of which I removed, but very tasty. Many other side options available - waffle fries, sweet potato fries, cole slaw, fresh baked chips, etc. Very filling. Honestly I shop at this gas station regularly and normally don't have any complaints but today my 46 year old mother had went to grab me a hazy ipa and a white claw and she was turned away because she used a old Id due to misplacing her current one so I told my mom it was cool I'd just go pick it up once she got to my place and could watch my daughter and when I arrived and grabbed my drinks they turned me away "because they turned someone else away who tried to by the same two exact drinks". I think this is absurd that two people can't have the same drink choice and on top of that both of us being over the legal age to purchase alcohol. read more

An amazing convenience store that goes far beyond anything you have seen at 7-11 or any other convenience store in the US, its stunningly beautiful, immaculately clean, with a gigantic selection of just about everything and anything that you can imagine. The food selection alone os astounding. They have hot dogs on hot rollers, like everyone else does, and they also have taquitos on rollers. Not just one flavor of taquitos, they have a huge assortment ready to eat at all times, along with Green Chili Stew, Chicken Tortilla Soup and Posole. The soft drink selection is world class and the aisles of other foods and supplies is stunning. There is just so much to choose from that you really should just stop by and walk through the aisles to see what you have been missing, its definitely an eye opening experience. They do have a very nice seating area that is comfortable and clean, more like a living room than anything else. On the other side of the living room is Mac's Steak In The Rough so you can also get something to eat there (they also have nice seating plus regular fast food style seating). Overall this is an excellent, luxurious, fully stocked convenience store that also has a decent drive through car wash and gas station. Unfortunately (for me), my mom told me got these Beauties, and I've been addicted ever since. The store's always always clean, and I often forget that it's actually a gas station convenience store. The staff is friendly, the gas prices are all listed so you know what you're in for if you pay cash or card, and though I still am not sure whether or not the car wash is affiliated with them or not, I look forward to my Wednesday car washes for ladies night LOL. One of the nicest, cleanest, and brightest gas stations/convenience stores around. Whenever I need to fill up late at night, I always feel safe at this Latitudes location. If you pay cash, you can save a little bit on the fuel too. The store has an ample selection of different products, so if you need to grab something you can probably find it without having to make a second stop. There's a little cafe which I haven't tried, outdoor seating, and even some electric car charging points. read more

I have been to this place many, many, many times for gas or stopping in. They have a huge selection of items you can usually get there, not just your old average gas station. I absolutely love having the discount card you can get a lot of really nice stuff especially on gas too! I recently visited family in New Mexico and visited Latitudes daily. One evening the system went down and my charge was not going through. The line was starting to get really long and I told the cashier not to worry and I'll just pay cash. I got back home to California and upon checking my account the charge did in fact to through. I called Latitudes and left a voicemail for the manager with a brief synopsis of what happened. Within a few hours the Manager called me back and apologized for it taking so long for returning my call. I thought it was very timely. He said he was there that evening and recalled the problem and asked me for the last 4 of the card I'd used. That was it. I told him I didn't have the receipt any longer. He said that was fine and that he'd mail me a check for the amount that day. I received the check a few days later with a hand written note from him. I want to personally thank the Manager, Ron Brown for providing OUTSTANDING customer service. In an extremely lacking world of customer service, it is such a breathe of fresh air and renews my faith in humanity. I have stopped here twice in the past 6 months to get gas and though I am not a regular here both experiences have been the same. I have paid cash both for gas and the service is slow to pay and to get change. And both visits was lotto ticket buying central so you are waiting for awhile just to pay them in cash for gas. I won't be stopping here again. If you pay with credit card it would be fast at the pump. The store on the inside is very clean but the service is too slow. read more

I apologize but your manager was not going out to get his license plate on his vehicle. If that is what she informed you it was not that and she blatantly lied. At that point I had already informed her I was sober and was he wasn't driving. This response is not acceptable. The vehicle was also not his vehicle. When we spoke I did apologize for his behavior and agree that he should not have gone back there both things I had also expressed to her that night. It was also agreed that he should have not found things as they were. Your and my discussion was lacking any input from you other than you would need to look into it that you had received her incident report. You agreed with what I had relayed about the safety concerns I stated about her going outside. I find myself troubled that your manager has now not only proven to be aggressive, unprofessional, and rude but a liar as well. read more

I've been a loyal customer to latitudes for several years but yesterday (Tuesday, September 10th) I had the worst customer experience in my life. I went in to buy some alcohol... a blonde lady with glasses was checking me out while having a FULL blown conversation with a co worker. She scanned my ID, I paid, and when I reached for my alcohol she pulled it away and asked to see my ID again b/c she forgot to look at the picture. I agree, & take it back out. But at this point I'm annoyed... if she wasn't so focused on talking to her co worker she would have checked me out correctly the FIRST time around. I almost make it out the door & she's yelling at me saying I can't leave until my alcohol is put away in my purse. At this point I'm really annoyed because if that's true then why didn't she bag my f******** drink in the first place and 2) why did she wait until I was half way out the door to tell me. I was upset at this point and simply told her no and continued to walk out the door WHILE she continued to scream at me saying I'm not welcomed there anymore (FINE by me)!!! I purchased a loaf of green chile sourdough bread at Latitudes last week; it was delicious, and quickly disappeared. Last night, I stopped by the store and asked about that bread, and the loaf of chocolate pumpkin I was buying at the time as a dessert bread. I was surprised to learn that Latitudes makes their own breads and pastries, and the cashier took my name in case they were making any more of the chile sourdough I inquired about. I thought it a nice gesture, but didn't really expect to hear from anybody. The next morning, Latitude's head baker called to say she'd specially made the two loaves I'd wanted. Wow. That kind of service is impossibly rare these days. In addition, Latitudes' staff has been unfailingly pleasant, greeting each individual that comes in the door. I'm impressed with the whole operation, and Latitudes has a new long-term customer in me. read more

Very friendly staff and great variety of products in the store. A little overpriced but worth if for convenience. Cafe food is ok but very inconsistent. I was so excited to hear about a 24 hour cafe because I work odd hours but their hours are less consistent than their food. Started out never open at night, then open 5 days a week overnight (only partial menu), to open only overnight 2 nights a week. It is somewhere I would love to have them be the alternative to fast food on nights I don't feel like cooking. However, I never know if I can rely on them so I am done trying. I understand if you can't make 24 hours work but commit to something hours wise. I will stick to using them strictly as a convenience store. read more
