The selection at Jubilation is amazing. They have a huge selection of finer wines, craft beers, and local liquors. If you are looking for a gift for someone with discerning tastes or want something special for yourself, this is definitely the place to go. What really sets Jubilation apart is the fact that they have miniatures for the local liquors, which I haven't seen elsewhere. It's been really cool to discover new stuff and support local businesses. Plus then it seems like we are super on trend and in the know when we give the gift of a local, amazing liquor that someone hasn't tried before. The only negative here is that they seem a little too pushy here. It's almost to the point where you feel like they might be watching to see if you steal something as opposed to trying to help you. Yikes!

Staff was super friendly & helpful. We wanted to support local and purchase local spirits to send to our family that live out of state. This way they can get a little taste of Nuevo Mexico. We will definitely continue to shop there, staff provided great suggestions and advice on what to purchase.

Fantastic liquor store... Plenty of unique & thorough options. Any liquor store that carries Pussers rum knows their business.

Love the guys, but can't shop comfortably when the daughter is there. Annoying. She really needs to step back and chill.

She went in to purchase liquor and politely asked an employee for help because she wasn't sure exactly what she needed. Instead of simply assisting her, the Asian man working there was incredibly rude, dismissive, demeaning, and gave her nothing but attitude. My aunt is Mexican, and the way she was spoken to and treated left her feeling that she was being looked down on and discriminated against because of her ethnicity. Whether that was his intention or not, NO customer should ever leave a business feeling humiliated or less than because they asked for help. There is absolutely no excuse for treating someone this way, especially a paying customer who was simply asking a question. Basic kindness and respect cost nothing. After hearing how hurt and uncomfortable my aunt felt, I cannot recommend this establishment. Management seriously needs to address how customers are being treated.

They have ample seating in brightly lit areas and even patio seating. It was fun busy and alive on a Tuesday night. Our server was so wonderful, very happy and relaxed it's a sign of a good place. All the front staff were wonderful workers and seem to work very harmoniously. My coworker and I had t different things he got a smothered burrito and I got the brisket combo, both dishes were too much food for too grown men. Delicious and huge portions plus a really nice presentation. The wait was a bit long but that just means they are making everything before service. The only hard part was parking, it's a small lot so be prepared to walk a block or two during dinner rush. Trust me it's totally worth it!!!

Everything has either red or green chili or what they call Christmas style and that's both green and red. Not on top of each other but side by side. They both were good. HOWEVER, they were spicy. Really spicy. The green Sause looked like mostly diced hatch green chilis with seeds left in. It had a good flavor. The red Sause was heavy (I think) New Mexico chilies. It had a bright red color, actually stained my fingers, and a woodsy taste. I got a comb plate. It has a chili relleno, tamale, taco, and enchilada with rice and beans. And it was good. It was a lot of food. (See pics) I'm from Oklahoma and the Mexican food there is alot different. But I enjoyed my meal. I would have licked the plate clean if it wasn't so spicy. 4/5

The food is REALLY diverse, with the tried-and-true favorites, as well as some more upscale, new agey things. They have a little bit of organic product (not much, but still surprising for a small store) they have a Japanese sushi bar, though I think they may be closing it down. They roast chile during the season when it has been harvested. THey do it in specially designed, big barrels outside the store and then they wrap it up and sell it to their customers. The variety is astonishing, really. In the produce, I recommend the blueberries, strawberries, cranberries (in season), avocados, green chile. For some reason, those things, in particular, are better than anywhere else in town. I suspect that this store has an "in" with local growers of SOMETHING. Basically, this store has pretty much EVERYTHING that a person needs in their household, including some gourmetish items. STAY AWAY FROM: The CHEESE. For some reason, I have had to return several cheese items. I don't think they are storing it properly. Also, the yellow onions look really tired but the white ones are just fine. THE BREAD is also not great. I've never been able to find an expiration date on any of their breads and I am suspicious about that. But at least they HAVE bread, when you're in a pinch. don't expect a lot in the meat department. They used to have a full time person behind the counter, but now the pickings are slim. The store has fallen on hard times since Covid, though, which is why I don't give them 5 stars. They USED to have a full SERVICE department, with Western Union and everything, but now they don't even pay out for the winning lottery tickets. (They do have a lottery machine, however, so at least you can buy them there.) I think that the pandemic made it difficult for them to get staff, but I am betting that when things improve in that department, they will be able to hire back some of the staff. The location of this store is very convenient, and it is a quick "in" and "out" - which is great for me, because I am disabled and can't be on my feet for very long. They switched from manned checkout stations to "do-it-yourself" about a year ago, but if they see someone struggling, they help them through the procedures. Today, when I went in there, I had a complicated checkout, using two different cards, so one of the gals opened up the manned checkout counter for me. They're nice like that. By the way, in the lot right next door, on 12th and Lomas, there is a small gas station with 4 pumps and a small little 7-11 type store THERE as well - but it's only good for EMERGENCY gas runs because it is very difficult to get in and out of there, the gas pumps NEVER have receipts. They always make you walk into the store to get a receipt from the checker, and their customer service stinks. I just mention it because having the gas station there HAS BEEN convenient a couple times when I was running really low on gas. This IS the best neighborhood place ever! When they're able to get more staff again, when they open up the service counter again, and when they get a real handle on the expiration dates on some of the foods, I'll come back and give them a '5." In the meantime, 4 stars for a great effort, good variety, and surprisingly good quality during difficult times.
