I had Mr. George file for my divorce and it took him MONTHS to write it up and file. The things he advised me on were just plain WRONG! Which I unfortunately learned after hiring a new lawyer. After I fired him I asked for the remaining of my retainer and never heard a word from him or the office. Suddenly, about 5 months later I get a $6000 bill! After fighting with them for about 3 more months they finally told me there was a problem with the "billing" and I didn't owe anything. Then the end of the year came and I get the bill AGAIN. This time I was told it was because it was the end of the year and they just forgot to take it out of the system and it would be taken care of that day. ANOTHER 8 months go by and SURPRISE! I got the bill AGAIN this time from Mr. George himself who was so kindly reminding me that I haven't paid my "mystery bill" yet.
