For the past THREE visits, my laundry has come back damaged--stained, worn out, and mishandled. I'm talking about detergent stains, random blotches, and clothes that now look old and beat up after only a few wears. One of my sweatshirts I've only worn THREE times came back with puckering all over it and an actual RIP in the fabric. That did not exist before I dropped it off. There is no excuse for that level of damage unless your clothes are being handled carelessly or aggressively. They also ignore basic instructions. I clearly requested items to be air-dried, and they still put them in the dryer, damaging them further. It's obvious everything is being thrown together in one machine with no separation or care. When I brought my clothes back for re-washing, it only got worse. And instead of taking accountability, I was blamed and given excuses. But what really crossed the line was the unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. During the dispute, the worker actually PUT HER HAND ON ME--like she was disciplining a child. Completely inappropriate. Do NOT touch customers. Ever. At that point, I knew this place had zero respect, zero professionalism, and zero standards. To make matters worse, this isn't even new behavior. I stopped coming here before because items were going missing. I gave them another chance--and now my clothes are coming back destroyed. You are literally paying to have your clothes ruined. I will be pursuing compensation for the damage. While there were new machines & dryers, the place was filthier than ever! Debris on the floor, tops of the washing machines gross from detergent, every washer I touched had lint or random stuff inside and sadly I spotted a couple of roaches. There were about 4-5 other people and one attendant. So I was surprised at the state of the place. Like most laundromats, this place uses a card instead of coins. The card is $5 which seems standard. I used the older washing machines that were $5.50 for what I think was a double loader. The indicator lights weren't working. I also used the older dryers at .35¢ for 8 minutes. Clothes including hoodies dried (for the most part) after 4 rounds. They used to be 24 hours, but no longer. Tuesday and Thursday nights they close at 10 and reopen in the morning. I do have one issue I encountered this weekend. I did a drop off and had them wash my clothes. When I picked my clothes up one of my bags had wet detergent all over it...now that's unacceptable. They had my cat's bed outside of plastic and this detergent got all over my cats bed as if she doesn't deserve a dry, clean bed smh and I had to re-wash the bed! By the way did I tell you it was still wet and had detergent all over it? The second pic is after re-washing after here washed and I didn't even add soap! There was so much soap in that wash. Now I've done 1 drop off before so maybe this was just a one off. The staff needs to make sure any surface they're placing our clean clothes we paid to get clean, is dry and clean before putting out bags on it. The lady upfront was kind, my issue isn't with her, she might not even been the person they placed the bag (she's older and I doubt she did) but I should've gotten some money back or something. I didn't ask her because I figured you know what, I'll re-wash it smh spend more money I shouldn't have to spend and time I didn't have...that's why I got these washed. So please make sure your employees are mindful of my situation when they are washing and placing people laundry they pay for to be cleaned. Thanks
