Their promise, clean clothes in 24 hours... What I got, just before the 24 hour mark a message they will be there in another 24 hours. No. I needed the 24 hour turnaround. We are traveling. Part of my party was flying out. I responded that it wasn't ok and I needed the clothes in the promised time. Got another vague answer. They were delivered about 40 hours after pickup. My husband had to leave without his clothes. This is completely unacceptable when you offer a business based on time guarantees. They wanted to give me future credits. I would never use this again. I would have been better off finding a Laundromat. And when the clothes finally came, they had holes from pins in them, stains, and came wadded up. So thanks for wadded up clothes that came late with holes and stains. But hey, you gave me 5£ for my trouble and charged me nearly 40 for the horrible service. I made sure to let our hotel know (they recommended the service) of my experience. So unless you don't care about spots, holes, wrinkles and time, pass on this.

MARK MY WORDS, AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD NOT JUST THE WORST LAUNDRY COMPANY, BUT THE WORST COMPANY IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!! I really don't even have the time to sit here and air up all my grievances, because we will be here all day, but I will say this they have terrible, rude, nasty customer service who are not even in the country that they're serving they outsourced to India, and their representatives are extremely rude and completely unaware of what the policies are and constantly giving causing more confusion and then already tumultuous situation! they had my clothes over a month or because of stupid payment discrepancy that was their problem, not mine in any event. I finally paid the bill today in total, even though they told me they were only charging me for half of the amount that I was charged, I paid $589 about 10 minutes later I was charged another $589 so in total I was charged twice leaving my bank account stripped clean. I've been reaching out to every single customer service representative that I spoke with since the beginning of time and now all of a sudden they have nothing to say in your response. This has been over a few hours now and no one has gotten back to me. I've emailed I chatted and no one seems to be getting back to me, which is crazy because when they felt like I owe the company money, they were calling my phone nonstop every day all day but now all of a sudden, nobody has nothing to say to Work. This is Dade. This is treacherous. I hate this company. I will never do business with them again, and I suggest you don't either they don't even wash clothes properly they come back smelling like mildew and it's just ridiculous. Don't waste your I'm begging you.

Used this service from a hotel in London. Nearly all items were returned discolored and with spots of red stain. Probably thousands of pounds of ruined clothes. We even requested the separate wash option.

DO NOT USE! After using this service that our hotel recommend, we were very disappointed. Our clothes seem liked they were just tossed in a dryer and then shoved in a bag and returned. There were a few stains that we had put stain remover on before sending and it was still on there when return. If they were washed the residue from the stain remover would have come out. They didn't even smell clean. For how much we paid, it was not worth it. We have been looking through reviews and it seems everyone has had a similar experience.

They picked up clothes from the hotel. Scheduled to deliver in 24 hours. I was delighted. However, when they delivered, clothes were not washed. Dirty clothes were thrown into drier, folded and returned with stains. Clothes did not have any fresh small you would expect from washed clothes. They charged 24 GBP. After I complained they agreed to refund 8 GBP. Total disappointment and terrible service, and a terrible return policy. Never again. Buyer beware.

We used Laundryheap while in London and it was a smooth process to get laundry done while saving valuable vacation time. I used the app to book the service, dropped our bag of to-be-washed clothes with our hotel reception around 8pm, and picked up a clean bag of clothes the next evening around 5pm. Would recommend and use again! read more

I gave specific instructions on some grease stains on my trousers - absolutely nothing was done about it. Trousers came back with all the grease stains still on it. All my clothing came back tossed in a bag unfolded, so everything has extra horrible wrinkles in it. A pair of shorts was in fact, still inside out. Literally zero care was taken on doing anything. On top of all that, there are hidden charges on top of the advertised price, which I was aware of, but this left a really bad taste. read more

I've used Laundry heap a lot, and yes its hard to find any decent laundry services in London, but the repeate lack of care, respect and hygiene has ended my relationship with them. 1) drivers arrive early, drivers arrive late, and this is without contact. 2) No attention to notes about garment care 3) drivers have no contact with the cleaning operations, and thus further notes are ignored. 4) drivers leave clean bags with laundry on the floor in London streets then expect you to bring them into your clean homes 5) Poor Customer service with no phone contact options 6) Several times they have over-promised and under-delivered 7) More than 2 occasions I have received clothing back dirty/dusty and with debris in the sealed washing packages, only to be offered discounts and credit (lol) not even a refund / replacement on items with god knows what on them. In fact, once I received items covered in hair, dust and what seemed liked white plaster board, and I was offered a promo code... Honestly, to not leave this review wouldn't sit easy with me, if you're thinking of using them and you care about your clothing, try else where. read more

This company is a complete scam. I strongly advise everyone to avoid them. First, they quoted one price but increased the rates significantly after picking up my items. Then, they failed miserably on delivery, changing the promised date four separate times. When my order finally arrived a week later, the service was terrible. Out of 24 items, 16 were not properly cleaned or ironed. While they were packaged to look professional, stains were still clearly visible on the garments. To add insult to injury, they overcharged me for this negligent service. Please be aware--this is a big scam. read more

A Complete Disappointment from Start to Finish After a previous bad experience with this service over a year ago (where delicate items were damaged), we reluctantly decided to give them another chance -- this time for the convenience of delivery, and only with basic items: a bag of laundry containing bedding, a couple of towels and 12 work shirts, a skirt, and a pair of trousers for dry cleaning. The collection went ahead as planned on Thursday evening, and we paid extra for a 24-hour turnaround. However, at around 4 AM on Friday, I received an email saying they couldn't proceed with delivery because they needed clarification on some "delicate" items, including a suit -- which was alarming, as I had not sent them a suit. I responded promptly to clarify that there were *no* delicate items and to wash everything at 30°C as previously instructed. Despite this, they delayed the delivery to Saturday and asked me to stay home over the bank holiday weekend. When the delivery finally came, only the dry cleaning was returned -- the laundry was missing. Worse, the trousers, which are designer, had been damaged beyond repair due to improper folding with heavy-duty clips. Then came the invoice -- not only had they charged my card already, but the bill included someone else's order, totalling over £100. When I raised this, I was met with repeated challenges until they eventually admitted the mistake. They refunded a random amount without any breakdown, so I still don't know if my bill is accurate. After several complaints about the missing laundry, I was told it would be delivered the following evening -- yet again requiring me to stay in on a holiday weekend. When the bag finally arrived, it felt suspiciously light. I asked the driver to wait while I checked it, and he actually laughed, saying the last customer had said the same thing because missing items were common. Sure enough, most of the laundry was still not returned. Despite repeatedly trying to resolve the issue, I've only received slow, unhelpful chatbot responses -- there's no phone line to speak to a real person. Now, they're asking me to stay in again on Bank Holiday Monday, claiming they've found "a couple of towels" and insist I *did* receive everything, which is just baffling. Overall, this has been an exhausting and infuriating experience -- full of delays, poor communication, lost items, damaged clothing, billing errors, and complete disregard for the customer's time and concerns. I regret giving them a second chance. The disaster is still ongoing..... read more

I've officially reached my limit with Laundryheap. They have ruined a very expensive Axel Arigato T-shirt I own, and I'm appalled at how they handled the situation. Their service has been problematic for a long time: They often show up without any prior notice, even when I've specifically noted for the driver to call ahead. If I'm not home, they simply take my laundry and deliver it the next day without asking. I've repeatedly received other people's clothes mixed in with mine -- a basic quality control failure. Freshly laundered items don't come back with any fresh scent, especially linens, which is disappointing. But the final straw was them damaging my clothing -- with zero accountability. For a company entrusted with people's personal garments, the lack of care, communication, and responsibility is unacceptable. When you trust a service with what you wear, you're trusting them with part of your identity. Laundryheap didn't just ruin my clothes -- they ruined my trust. And no, a £5 credit isn't going to fix an £80 T-shirt. If that's their idea of customer care, it says everything you need to know. read more

DON'T use Laundryheap. They will: 1. Tell you they tried to deliver, but YOU weren't available at home, and later change it to "OOPS! We may have lost your stuff" (LIE!); 2. Slap you with Condition 11.1.1..., which they expect you to read before dry cleaning (OF COURSE!); 3. No matter if it's your favourite Loro Piana jacket or tailor made suit, their liability is limited to £50 (NON-DISCRIMINATORY...huh!); 4. Tell you that they waived the dry cleaning fee, on the suits they lost. (HOW NICE!) They have no clue what they are doing. App can't track your clothes, customer service can't handle complaints, policies are inflexible. Better use any other app, OR EVEN wear dirty clothes - at least you will have your clothes (rather than getting it lost by these cl*wns) read more

Laundryheap suggesting they had resolved the issue but when i checked my account there was no resolution- they were referring to a message saying i should raise a formal complaint but i can only do that once my duvet has been returned and that won't be until tomorrow. Straight up STOLE MY LAUNDRY from my hotel when I'd booked and paid for another service. No way to contact them. I'm pissed. Edit/Update: The reason you couldn't find a match in your system, Jhansy, is because I never hired y'all to do anything. I had to download the app and make an account just to talk to y'all about stealing my clothes. And then I had to threaten police action to get them back within 24 hours because clearly it wasn't a priority for you. My FAVORITE PART is when y'all offered me 15% off your services to wash my clothes that you were essentially holding hostage because, and I quote, "The driver left and there was traffic and construction," so my things couldn't be returned to me. You then had the audacity to miss your promised delivery window of 12-3 the following day, dropping my dirty, stolen clothes off at 4:30. Y'all can take a long dive off a short pier. Worst company I've ever had the displeasure of being forced to work with due to theft. I hope the company burns. read more

If there was a zero star review, I would give it. This company should be called "Trash Heap" because that is where your clothes may end up if you send them in to be laundered with Laundry Heap. My wife and I were in London for a two-week stay. We sent two loads of laundry to be done by Laundry Heap. Pick-up and delivery were excellent, but the service was horrible. We separated our clothing into light and dark colors and paid for the colors to be laundered separately. When the clothes returned the majority of the laundry was damp, we were missing a sock and they ruined two cotton polo shirts, stained a pair of shorts and died a white shirt blue. Because there is no way to contact the company other than through the app, had to log three separate complaints. One each for damp laundry, a missing item and damaged clothes. Laundry Heap e-mailed me and asked me to return the damaged items for them to try to rectify the situation. How do you fix a shirt stained a different color? You don't! They ruined 1/3 of the shirts I brought with me on vacation from the US. I refused to send my property back to them. After five e-mails back and forth, the best they would do is refund the full cost of the service. They offered $6.95 for a pair of socks that cost $14.99 to replace. They said this was because the socks were two years old. They depreciated a sock! They did nothing about the damaged clothes. Their idea of compensation was to refund what I paid for the service they didn't complete and executed poorly. When I placed the order, the app said "you saved three hours". In reality, I spent more than three hours dealing with their customer service and laundering my own clothes for the rest of the trip because I could not afford for another shirt to be ruined. One top of that, over $200 of my property was ruined or lost. Please DO NOT use this company. They can't provide basic services and will not make things right when they fail. read more

My wedding dress was made up of two separates: a skirt and a bodice. I sent them to Laundryheap to be dry cleaned. The bodice never returned. I asked for them to look into this, and they say it never came to them, CCTV shows it wasn't in the bag. I struggled to believe this and asked to see the footage but they say they can't share it. My flat is a finite space, I know the item isn't here, I know I sent it off to them. This is an item of both significant monetary but also significant emotional value. It's half of my wedding dress. I can't replace that. And even if I could, I am currently having to battle with Laundryheap for them to acknowledge what's happened. I can't let this go so now feel I need to dedicate a stupid amount of time to getting them to properly engage with me. read more

The service was terrible. Despite my instruction, they returned the item with the stain still present. In addition, their customer service representative, Mahesh, was unhelpful and kept repeating that they can't reprocess it after 48 hours from delivery. The delay was caused by another item that was not properly processed, resulting in multiple chat conversations because you can't speak with anyone on the phone. They lose things! They lost my items, TWICE! Another update: they claimed they found my items and will arrange delivery next day, BUT, of course, they never showed up. And just rescheduled for no reason. Let's see if they will show up today, lol. I doubt if they have actually found my things and just trying to delaying solutions and compensations. Will update more. This is getting more and more ridiculous. Previous update: see the reply below? they won't contact you unless you reach out to them using their lame app! They can not even ensure the most basic thing as a service provider. first time they lost a king size feather duvet which I bought for 300 GBP something at John Lewis, they only reimbursed me 75 or something because I did not take photos of the item( who would think it would get lost!) I thought it was just bad luck but this time they lost my order again! 9 items in total including 2 cashmere jumpers , one designer dress and king size beddings! Please take pictures of every item you gave to them, because it is likely to get lost and you will need those to get compensation!( what a fuss I know! But that is what you have to do when you are dealing with someone so unreliable !) I am definitely dropping Laundryheap! Stained and wet clothes Paid for three loads of laundry as a new parent. Whites came back streaked yellow which didn't come out in the wash, almost like they were burned, causing over 250 worth of damage. Other items came back wet which completely defeated the point as I don't have a dryer. Raised issues with team on app who spent a day telling me that on inspection of the photo evidence I provided the stains were already there (how they deduced this no one can tell?!). Ultimately refunded me about a quarter of what I paid, less than 10% of the damage caused as the clothes are completely unwearable. Thoroughly disappointing and the last thing I needed as a new parent. read more

On the day my order was due to be delivered, I received the tracking link as usual. Then 10 minutes before it was due I received a text message saying the order was not ready and would be delivered the following day. What!? No response to my text reply. No response to messages in the app. No response to messages on facebook. No response to messages on instagram. Worst customer service ever. The kicker? My new scheduled time is during the evening when I'm not home. And to change it they tell you to message them - the same messages they refuse to respond to!!! Will never use again. Update: Still no call from anyone at Laundryheap, just a bunch of canned responses like below. The partial refund? A token $10. The order should be free at this point. No communication just a bunch of robots spewing the same response repeatedly. If I could give a zero review I would. Oh and by the way if you read through the reviews, I'm certainly not the first to have this experience. This of course is overwhelmed by the numerous paid reviews that give a glowing response that read as if they are written by a bot. This is the worst laundry service I've EVER used - and I've used a few. I sent off 3 bags of clothes / sheets to laundryheap for separate wash. My clothing was returned on time a day later, but in a disastrous state. Nice clothes were just dumped into the bag, completely unfolded, and wrinkled so poorly it will take me hours to iron them. I had a hard time figuring out if they'd actually been washed or if they'd just returned the pile of dirty laundry I'd initially provided to them. On contacting customer support, they offered me a £5 discount on my next order... which is hardly a meaningful response on a £50 laundry order. read more

The driver, clueless and unhelpful, speculated that my items could have been wrongly delivered to another customer. Calls to customer service were met with a deafening silence, leaving me stranded and desperate for a resolution that never came. Week 2: Emergency Linen Purchase: The situation turned critical when I had to urgently buy replacement linen for my Airbnb guests, incurring significant unplanned expenses. This was a direct result of Laundryheap's blunder, and their lack of communication amplified the chaos. Week 3: Discovered Damage and Dismissive Responses: When my laundry finally arrived, it was unusable - reeking and stained with what looked like yellow paint. It was clear the linen had been misused, perhaps by another customer, and returned without any cleaning. Laundryheap's responses to my complaints were dismissive, offering no acknowledgment or compensation for the ruined bedding. Week 4: False Assurances and Continued Negligence: Laundryheap promised to re-wash the damaged items, yet returned them with the same stains, contradicting their claim of having removed them. They sent photos alleging the stains were gone, which was a blatant lie. I was counting on this laundry for new guests, and their incompetence left me in a bind once again. Week 5: Unauthorized Charges and Gaslighting: I discovered unauthorized charges on my card from Laundryheap. Despite providing screenshot evidence, they denied responsibility, gaslighting me and causing further financial strain. Week 6: More Delays and Token Refund: After weeks of exhausting back-and-forth, Laundryheap finally acknowledged a portion of their financial errors by refunding a paltry £2.99 for the canceled subscription. The issue of the $10.30 unauthorized charge was left hanging, with them asking for even more information - a stalling tactic I'd become all too familiar with. Week 7: Lack of Accountability and Resolution: Laundryheap's communication strategy seemed to revolve around sending arbitrary responses designed to delay any real resolution. Their correspondence was void of substance, ignoring the pressing issues at hand and failing to recognize the urgency and distress their service failures had caused me. Week 8: Empty Promises and Refusal to Compensate: As I sought answers and compensation for the damaged bedding, Laundryheap's promises of action remained unfulfilled. The company's reluctance to admit their fault in the mishandling of my property was evident, with no compensation in sight for the full set of bedding that was now damaged beyond repair. Week 9: Token Gestures and Continued Financial Mishandling: Finally, Laundryheap made a shallow attempt at rectifying one of their many errors by issuing a minimal refund of £2.99 for a canceled subscription. Yet, this did little to address the larger issue of unauthorized charges, including the $10.30 transaction they had previously failed to acknowledge or resolve. Conclusion: A Warning to Potential Customers: Laundryheap's abhorrent behavior throughout this process was not just a series of service failures but a complete disregard for customer experience and satisfaction. The company's handling of my case was characterized by deceit, avoidance, and negligence. They not only caused me significant financial loss and stress but also the mental anguish of dealing with their circular and dismissive customer service. The distress I endured due to their unprofessionalism was unacceptable. I urge anyone considering their services to take this account as a stark warning and steer clear of Laundryheap. Their behavior towards customers is not just disappointing; it's outright disgraceful and should be admonished. read more

I am utterly appalled by the horrendous experience I had with Laundryheap. Not only did they lose a significant number of my valuable clothing items, but their subsequent handling of the situation has been nothing short of a nightmare. I have been a loyal customer but after this ordeal, I can confidently say that I will never use their services again, and I strongly advise others to steer clear. After three weeks of endless communication and so-called "investigations," Laundryheap finally admitted that they had indeed lost 14 shirts and 3 jackets. To their credit, they agreed to compensate me, as stated in their terms and conditions. However, this initial glimmer of hope quickly turned into a bitter disappointment. To my shock and disbelief, Laundryheap then proceeded to commit a severe breach of my privacy rights by illegally sharing my personal data with other parties. This flagrant violation of GDPR practices is both unacceptable and inexcusable. I trusted Laundryheap to handle my information securely, but they proved themselves to be utterly negligent in this regard. Their subsequent correspondence was even more disheartening. After realising the substantial value of the lost items, which amounted to over £1400, they shamelessly reneged on their promise of compensation of £600. Their sudden change of heart, driven solely by their financial interests, showcases a complete lack of integrity and respect towards their customers. What makes matters worse is that I discovered I'm not alone in this nightmarish experience. Several other customers I personally recommended to Laundryheap have also reported poor service and lost items in recent times. Laundryheap's failure to take responsibility for their mistakes, coupled with their disregard for customer privacy and satisfaction, is simply unacceptable. As someone who believed in their service and recommended it to others, I am deeply disappointed and disheartened. I strongly urge anyone considering using Laundryheap to think twice before entrusting them with your precious belongings and personal information. This company has proven themselves to be untrustworthy and unreliable. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! The prices quoted on the price list on their website are NOT the actual prices you will get charged. I've sent a puffer coat, a shirt and a pair of trousers for which I was quoted an amount on the website. The day following collection (supposed delivery day) I received a text asking for another payment of £24 to process the puffer coat. I was asking if this was additional to the total amount that I had already paid but no clear response was sent. Customer service is simply horrible. They have no phone to call, no one answers the chat box, and each text message is replied to after two hours! They ended up not delivering the clothes back on the day agreed. I said that I did not want them to process the coat as I didn't want to pay an additional £24 to what I had already paid. They delivered the coat unprocessed two days later, but they never refunded me the amount I originally paid for the coat. @Laundryheap, do not bother answering saying this was dealt with internally as you do on all messages, as that is a big lie. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! read more

I've been using Laundryheap for a while, and while the drivers are always lovely and efficient, the customer service is extremely poor. As a busy medic, I value organization and quick communication, but I've been asking the same question since this morning without any response. I've seen the customer service associate, Varun, going online and offline multiple times, completely ignoring my three messages. Additionally, my friends have received numerous discounts for future orders, but when I enquired about this, I was also ignored. It shows a lack of business acumen and consideration for loyal customers. To make matters worse, I wanted to add an extra bag to my pick-up to save on unnecessary trips, but my request was disregarded. It seems they'd rather do two or three trips than listen to a simple customer request, which makes no sense logistically. Sadly, I won't be using Laundryheap again. While the drivers are fantastic, the lack of customer care is too frustrating to deal with. read more

I cannot believe how many issues I've had with this company. From delivery people refusing to pick up from my door (multiple drivers have asked me to bring my laundry out to the corner...) to delivery of my clothes being delayed by multiple days (this happened twice when I was scheduled to travel the next day). Also worth noting: I've never been compensated for these issues. I've gotten "Thanks for the feedback" about a million times, but that does very little to remedy the fact that I've had to purchase clothes to wear for multiple business trips due to their operational issues. My recommendation: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! Tip for the company: People are using this service for very specific reasons. Among them, timeliness. If you cannot fulfill orders within the promised window, DO NOT ACCEPT THE ORDER. Why is this such a complicated concept to grasp? read more

Rushed back from work and cancelled a few appointments tonight just to wait for nothing. Driver didn't bother calling, nor ringing my door bell. There wasn't a missed call at all. Then I get a notification that the collection was unsuccessful. I cannot call Laundry Heap because there's no contact number and when I did eventually get a number, no one picked up the call. I had to rely on chat, and no one actually answered me until hours and hours later. I've been a long time customer of laundry heap but tonight's terrible service has made me think twice. I've cancelled the order and I will uninstall the app. Terrible terrible Terrible. read more

I used Laundryheap during a trip to London, and it was fantastic! Booking through the app was easy, and the driver picked up and dropped off my laundry right at my hotel lobby--super convenient. Communication was excellent, with regular updates through the app. My clothes were returned quickly, perfectly clean. For travelers needing reliable and hassle-free laundry service, I highly recommend Laundryheap. Will definitely use them again! read more

First time I have tried this service or a service of this kind. Travelling to London from the US for a couple of weeks and needed laundry done. Paid last night for pick up at office. There was some difficulty with the pick-up, but with some active communication, Laundry Heap was accommodating and picked it up ultimately at my hotel. Got laundry back the next day, 24 hours later. AM very excited to have clean clothes. read more

Brand new shirts given for dry cleaning came back with collars faded. They took them back saying they will re-do but unfortunately the damage has been done. The person who delivers is clueless and since there is no telephone number the correspondence has to be only via email. Stopped using them since. Poor service and expensive.Personally I felt I am better off with the local dry cleaners. read more
