When I called for clarification, I was told by the front desk that a colonoscopy counts as "establishing care" and that the practice does not do second opinions. This explanation should have come from the referral team or a clinical staff member, not the receptionist. The process felt dismissive and poorly handled, especially since the referral came from a specialist. A clearer explanation and more professional handling of referrals would go a long way in improving patient experience.

Despite that, they refused to see me. Not a new patient visit, not a complicated procedure a simple follow-up. For a gastronomy practice that presumably deals with patients who may be managing health conditions (traffic, parking, life), showing zero compassion or flexibility for a 5-minute delay after being notified is frankly insulting. No attempt to accommodate, no offer to wait a few minutes, no empathy whatsoever. I wasted time, travel, and energy for nothing. The least professional and least patient-centered experience I've had at any medical or wellness establishment. If punctuality matters more to them than patient care, they should make that crystal clear before booking or better yet, reflect on what "care" actually means. I will not be returning, and I would strongly caution anyone with a busy schedule or an unpredictable commute to think twice before booking here.
