In May, I was stranded in a rural area of the Suncoast Hwy and called for a tow at 1:15pm. After several calls back and forth with AAA Florida, I was told a tow would arrive at 5:20pm. At about 5pm, I received a call informing me that there would be no tow. I asked what was I supposed to do and was told that I could either sleep in the car or leave the keys in the car and find a way home to Inglis (67 miles away). Fortunately, a Good Samaritan stopped and drove me home. I wrote a letter in May to the AAA Florida CEO and have yet to receive a response. Then I sent a copy of the letter to AAA National Public Relations Officer E Edmonds and have yet to get a response. All I can say is that AAA is not what it used to be and I will be finding an alternative.
