My experience with Elite DNA has been…read moreone of the most frustrating, disappointing, and emotionally draining experiences I've had with any mental health provider. I came to your organization in hopes of finding advanced, trauma-informed therapy for myself and my two children. We were open, honest, and vulnerable during our intake process--clearly stating our need for trauma-based therapy, not basic counseling. The emotional toll it took for us to even reach the point of seeking help was significant, and we expected to be met with professionalism and attentiveness. Instead, we were met with inefficiency and negligence. After repeated forms, time-consuming paperwork, and unnecessary disruptions to my work and personal life, we were scheduled with someone who did not provide the type of care we clearly requested. This was not just a clerical error--this was a complete disregard for what we communicated during the intake. The therapist even acknowledged the mismatch, which only deepened the sense of wasted time and emotional strain. After speaking directly with two managers--one being at your Port Charlotte location--at the beginning of the week, it was agreed that we would not proceed with services due to this failure to meet even the most basic expectations. So imagine my shock when I woke up this morning to find a $40 charge on my account--without my consent or authorization. This is completely unacceptable. At no point did I authorize payment for services that were not rendered or agreed upon. Two managers were made fully aware that we were not moving forward, and yet this charge was made anyway. This is not just a lack of professionalism--it's borderline fraudulent. Let me be clear: if this charge is not immediately reversed, I will be filing formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Affairs, and pursuing a dispute with my bank. They have already been notified of this unauthorized charge. This is not how you treat families seeking healing. This is not how you run a credible healthcare service. What we experienced was careless, disorganized, and emotionally harmful. To others reading this: do not waste your time, your energy, or your hope on Elite DNA. There are far better, more competent providers out there. I wish I had read more reviews before trusting this company with something as important as my family's mental health. ONCE AGAIN LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR! This company should be shut down. The level of negligence and unethical behavior I've experienced is beyond unacceptable. You did not have authorization to charge my account, and yet you proceeded to take payment despite clear communication with two separate managers confirming that no services would be rendered. This is a violation of trust, and it's borderline theft. Return my money immediately. If this charge is not reversed without delay, I will be filing a police report in addition to reporting this incident to the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Affairs, and pursuing all legal avenues necessary to hold Elite DNA accountable. You've crossed a line--and I will not let this go unanswered.

I was with the head of Risk Management Jim Reed, Administrative Director Craig Leech and female, whom did not share a business card with me, Head of Nursing. I have a loved one currently in Riverside, I was appointed as her advocate and was told all medication changes and treatments would have to be run by me for append unless it was an immediate emergency. My loved one and Dr. Arthmann had both told me her meds were being changed. When I asked the doctor what they were he said he did not need to tell me because it was his decision and only involved his patient. And he did not need to consult her regular psychiatrist either. The patient went in Friday night, the Dr. changed her meds Saturday and it was not until Monday that I was able to get in touch with anyone in charge to express my concerns. Now back to Tuesday afternoon when I was having the meetig with the 3 admin officials.... In the meeting I was once again assured that there had not been any changes and again when I expressed that the patient had told me of feeling woozy and unsteady due to the changes, they offered to make a copy of her papers to prove her meds were the same as when she came in. So by 3:00 Tuesday I had been assured that there had not been any changes and that my loved ones mental state may be making her tell me things that were not true. Then late Tuesday afternoon I received a call from a nurse and she said they were making 2 more change to the patients meds including adding a sleeping pill. I was driving and couldn't really talk and she got rude and said, well as long as we have your permission, and I said, "no you don't, I need to know more information about the new drug" the nurse continues to be rude and said it was the doctors decision and this was just a courtesy call and hung up. When I had a chance to pull over and call back, I was told that someone would be in touch. Thus is the next day and I have left multiple messages and still no contact. Although my loved one said they gave her the sleeping pills and that caused her to sleep thru the 1 hour a day visitation time they she had now missed. Also, after my complaint Monday about Dr. Arthmann, she was transferred to another doctor whom I was told twice Tuesday that he would contact me after doing his rounds Tuesday afternoon. It is now Wednesday and it appears that I was lied to again. When I spoke to my loved one early Tuesday evening, I asked her how her meds were doing, she said the new Dr. had made another change and it was making her very tired through the day. Now I am still wondering why she would lie about that and again have doubts about the honesty of the admin presence at the meeting. She said they had given her another sleeping pill and she was going to bed early. When I asked what they had given her and who approved it. She said she asked specifically asked for clonazepam (Klonopin) and they gave it to her. When I reminded her of having to take them away due to an adverse reaction over a year ago and switch to zolpidem (Ambien) she said, "oh yeah, now I remember, well goodnight" and she hung up the phone. So, it's obvious why Mr. Reed has a job, this is a hospital that puts reputation and profit above patients and the admin works together to keep their doctors happy and responsible family members in the dark!
