Great pizza and service. Specials and dinners looked great, but we were just getting pizza this time.

Great breakfast at Comfort @ the Corner yesterday…read more The converted residence has a first floor restaurant specializing in morning and afternoon meals. It was jammed for Mothers' Day. My fine woman was working, so I was on my own. Luckily, there was a deuce on the enclosed porch that was too small for all the large parties, so they put me there. I try not to think too much about being the only diner w/o a mom. Service was warm and considerate, perhaps out of sympathy for appearing to be an orphan . I ordered Egg Bites (w bacon) and short stack French Toast, and house Java. The egg dish was two small gauge frittata and well done home fries w bits of onion mixed in. Perhaps a little over grilled, but tasty nonetheless. The taters were as I like them, well done to a firm crunch. The French T was soaked in a very good egg, vanilla, cinnamon slurry that grilled up full of flavor. The garnish of strawberry/raspberry/blueberry was a pleasant fruity touch. They offer a choice of Costa Rican or regular house blend coffee for a dollar differential. I went with the standard brew and it was strong and aromatic. I am sure the high end jolt is even better, but I was quite content with the house joe, which Anita refilled at every opportunity. She provided amazing attention given how many mothers were in the dining room. If you're into country drives and quality morning kitchens, Comfort at the Corner in Telford is very worthy of being your destination.

Giovanni's Pizza & restaurant is next door is owned by the husband of Mercatino's. Both places serve really good food! My bad experience there today was due to how LONG it takes to order, pay for, and get your food. WAY to long. Plus, everything is overpriced. They make you order from one of two kiosks. Kiosk ask some odd questions that force you to go to the counter to ask things like, what is pressed hot? By the time the lady had time to answer my question, my order was timed out and I had to start all over. Then my chicken cutlet ssandwich comes with broccoli rabe, but the kiosk suggested I add it and pay more for it. WHAT? The friendly lady came out from behind the counter to help me with the order. Then she asked for my email address and phone numberto complete the order. WHAT? She claimed I HAD TO input my phone number and email address to complete my order - WHAT??I We argued a minute and I said I just want to buy my sandwich which doesn't require giving out my email and phone numbeI. I finally completed my orderand asked at the counter what's next. The lady behind the counter says here's your reciept, you have to go up front to the cashier pay for it 1st. I said what the heck and she explained someone walked out, not paying so this is their procedure now. So, okay, I walked to the fron register, presented my nvoice and paid. So, again I ask what's next. The cashier hands me a paid for sticker and said go back to the counter in the rear to get your food. Okay, so I walked back to the rear counter to discover they hadn't started to assemble my sandwich yet. So, I milled aroiund with other confused looking customers waiting for their food. 20 minutes later I got my food and FINALLY left. The food is good but very expensive, the staff is friendly, but I'll never go thru that again. Their bakery is exceptional but they get it from La Dolce Vita Italian bakery in Wescoville, it's a great Italian bakery in Wescoville. Their bread comes from NY and itself is worth the trip there. The frozen section is exceptional as well. Just don't order a sandwich unless you have the day off or like me, are retired!

The service has always been friendly and helpful and such an adorable atmosphere, reminds you of a taste of Italy. I would highly recommend this Market for delicious food and the atmosphere too. Outdoor seating is available too. Just a wonderful place to eat.

She was so kind and thorough with questions about the menu and the items in the store. - The selection is phenomenal. Not only do they have a large, diverse menu, but they have a ton of stuff you can take home. - Reasonably priced. Why would you ever go to a chain sandwich shop when you could eat here? Neggies: - The sandwich was a bit dry, which I think could have been fixed with more oil and whatever spread they used. - The meat was on the lighter side vs the size of the bread. For a deli sandwich, it's important for me to have that great bread to meat ratio! Overall, a good experience and I look forward to giving them another shot!
