That makes the review more credible and useful to others. I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Granada Hills Health Center has been extremely disappointing. One of the biggest issues was the lack of transparency regarding billing. We were quoted a price for my mother's physical therapy and agreed to that amount. Just two days later, we were presented with a bill that was approximately 40% higher than the quoted price, with no prior discussion or approval. Families deserve accurate pricing and should not be surprised with significant increases after they've already agreed to the cost. Even more concerning was a medication incident. A nurse attempted to give my mother medication intended for dementia, even though she has never been prescribed or taken that medication. My mother questioned it and repeatedly requested to speak with a supervisor. Despite her concerns, the nurse returned multiple times attempting to administer the medication before finally contacting a supervisor after several requests. We found this extremely troubling. To make matters worse, when a supervisor finally became involved, there was no meaningful apology, no clear explanation of how the error occurred, and we were not allowed to file a formal complaint regarding the incident. Medication safety, transparent billing, and listening to patients and their families are fundamental responsibilities of any healthcare facility. Based on our experience, Granada Hills Health Center fell short in all three areas. I hope the facility takes these concerns seriously and improves its communication, billing practices, and patient safety procedures so that other families do not have a similar experience.

I was lucky to have Christi O and George as my treatment team. Mary Jane, an outstanding CNA made sure my daytime hours went well. And Maria Parada never missed a thing. My medication nurse shared her nephropathy experience with me resulting in a new medication for my case, At night our RN supervisor Destiny covered us like a warm blanket. Stephanie was a headphone hero! Marta often does double shifts. Christina made sure I worked hard in my rehab sessions. The social workers are really good. Shen brought my iPhone back to life after a hard fall. My caseworker and I shared the same surgeon creating a bond that will last for the rest of my life. CC was my first CNA and made a wonderful opening impression of the facility. When it came time to leave Lindsay Rodriguez packed me up. Everyone at North Hills loves their job. If your looking for quality heath care in an outstanding environment North Hills is worth a serious look.

Cedar Sinai Hospital gave us a list of skilled nursing facilities near our house. Rinaldi Convalescent Hospital was very close to our house, and had a private room available. Daniel, Illiana and Brisa got my aunt settled in and showed great concern and compassion toward my aunt and our family during her entire stay at the hospital. The charge nurse Katie and the entire team of nurses and aids were very supportive and helpful. Paige and the entire team of Physical and Occupational Therapists at Rinaldi were amazing. Even upon discharge, Illiana and the physicians there coordinated a hospital bed and wheelchair being delivered for my aunt. Thank you Rinaldi Convalescent Hospital support team for your compassionate care for my aunt!

I accidentally stumbled upon this place and am so grateful I did!…read more The front desk staff was friendly and helpful; and I had a gynecologist appointment w/ Dr. Eliz and I cannot recommend her enough. All of my recent doctors within the past few years have really lacked person-to-person skills, many of them not even introducing themselves when they walk in the room. Often I am left feeling like a number on a checklist instead of a human when in doctor's appointments, which is why this visit with Dr. Eliz was such a nice change. She came in so friendly and sweet, introduced herself and her intern, and asked me my name and how I was doing. I know that seems simple and basic, but it hasn't happened in a long time, so I already felt more at ease right away. She communicated with me through the whole procedure so I felt comfortable and safe and informed (which I very much appreciated), and it went quickly and smoothly. Then my nurse who later had to draw blood from me was also a wooonderful human who also made me feel comfortable and at ease. All around good people here and I feel so much relief having found them.

I was there for an appointment early morning, I needed blood drawn (I was 36 weeks pregnant) so another staff member made an appointment for me to return later on that day. Breyda saw that I was in pain and without me asking said "wait, take a seat really quick" , she got me in that very minute so I wouldn't have to return in a couple of hours. I was in so much pain, I couldn't even walk. Breyda, Hysby, Martha, Teressa, Briana, Maria, Dr Aura, and Dr Carlos gave me the best experience in this office. This staff always made me feel welcomed and important. Everytime I would call the front desk, the staff was ALWAYS polite, never made me feel like I was annoying them. They would even make recommendations when I would complain about being hungry lol. Made me feel at home. They always accommodated me when I needed an appointment change. I can't express how thankful I am towards them. I loved the fact that they always knew my name and would greet me with a big smile Everytime I walked in. I wanted to get pregnant but had some concerns of certain pains I was experiencing. As soon as I walked in and told Dr. Aura she immediately made appointments (ultrasounds, etc) for me to get checked out. I've never had a doctor make appointments for me so quickly. Dr Aura examined every part of my body to make sure I was ready for pregnancy. Ms. Maria always made me feel at home. I felt like she was one of my aunts. She makes you feel like family. She has a way with people that makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. Would make me laugh while taking my vitals and gave me all the information to questions I had. I met Dr Carlos towards the end but again, great first impression. Very kind and gave me information about the birth portion of the pregnancy. I definitely recommend this place.

After visiting a few Skilled Nursing Care facilities.., we found The Gardens for my father &…read morecouldn't have picked a better facility!! From the first day, we felt more like it was more of a family than anything I could have imagined. Ray helped get my father situated in a private room as he needed a lot of care, He took the time to, as this was our first experience, walked us through the process. He even helped when my father was being discharged, allowing him to temporarily keep the wheelchair until home healthcare got one delivered, even arranged to get it pick up!! Coming there directly from the hospital, we didn't know what to think, but they immediately integrated him and started him on a road to recovery. All the staff there were so amazing, so compassionate and you were made to feel special. I wish I could remember every one's name and give them a shout out as they all deserve to be acknowledged as it is such a tough job. There were some people there who truly went above and beyond. Carmen Carbajal (Activities Coordinador) is always checking in and making sure my dad was not only okay but trying to include him on all the activities, making feel so much less than a nursing home!! Racheal Yedigye (LVN) was the administering nurse making sure my father got all the correct medication and always kept us in the loop so we could monitor and advocate for any changes, she always checked in on him even when not on her rounds and both she and Carmen keep in touch even asking to see visit after he left the facility!! Gigi Gonzalez (LVN) was constantly aware of my father's needs and was always available for us to get up to date status and always made sure his wounds were treated and helped make him comfortable. Michael Mason (LVN) was my point man at the front desk, he always took care of any questions or problems we had and always facilitated helping us any paperwork or made sure we were connected to the best person to help. Roseleen in physical therapy made sure my father was getting the therapy he needed, she always made sure he was getting his exercise..... even when he would try to get out of the therapy, she wouldn't take no for an answer and helped push him to do what he needed to get on the road to recovery. And Arturo Clara (housekeeping/maintenance), no matter what we needed, he was always there to quickly get anybaccommodations fixed or re supplied, when there was a late room switch, he quickly got a room ready, and always with a smile & a nod... Again so many other staff there that went above and beyond working tirelessly to help all the patients.. they all have my admiration & heartfelt thanks!

Garbage. The worst run organization imaginable. Lots of new employees that constantly get drummed…read moreout of the organization and a few who are clever enough to learn how to present they are working but are just stealing time and looking like they are busy, when they are not. The best fake employee is a bloke named Darren who does no work and nobody seems to care!. His only job is to register your weight and drop off liquid protein to about 4 patients which takes 30 seconds to pour. The rest is playing music from his phone, singing, texting, looking at his phone, and occasionally standing and looking around for something to waste time so pass the time. The only employees that they need to hire are ones that can put people on and off machines. The so called "support staff" are a total panty waste.
