We were greeted by a massive parking lot and colorful sign. When we entered the gift shop to buy our tickets for the caverns, we learned that this is WV's largest gift shop. How cool! Our tour started promptly (looks like they run every half our) with Austin as our guide. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. It was so cool and spooky to be in a cave learning about stalagmites and stalactites. This is the perfect activity for folks of all ages, as it's not a heavy lift effort wise. The premises also have mini golf and "gold mining", as well as ice cream and plenty of gifts. Great place to stop and enjoy some time with the family! PS. Don't forgot to tip your fabulous tour guides.

The dishes were put away dirty from the previous tenants. The Wi-Fi is horrible. I hate to complain, but these are simple things that should be noticed by staff and rectified. The woman who appeared to be the owner or manager was shockingly rude to our entire group. We were supposed to have snacks or light lunches in the restaurant arranged through our tour group but were told we did not have reservations and would have to leave Instead of trying to clarify, she simply told us we couldn't eat there and had to leave. We were a group of 54 people all shopping in their store and spending money, yet we were treated with complete disrespect. Its is disappointing to see such poor customer service toward paying visitors If that is how groups are treated I cant imagine this business lasting long The caverns are worth seeing but Id strongly recommend avoiding the resort or restaurant until management changes

The cabin is small but not cramped and all the basics included. hot plate, mini fridge, stand-up shower. The heat system is badass for cold nights. The wifi worked no problem but we didnt use it much. There was a tv on a wall mount but we never even turned it on. The bed was the best part, after a long trip I just hit it and was done.
