Anybody at all…read more You might think, like I did, that spas are only for the rich, who can afford to pad around all day in dressing gowns with cucumber slices over their eyes. And at first blush, the spa in Spa seems that way: it's at the top of a very high hill accessible only by a (EUR1) glass lift cable car thing. It's located in the SAS Radisson hotel. BUT. An entire day in the Spa costs around EUR27 - to use any of the pools and saunas you want. There is also an hourly rate, and you can pay for extras such as a peat bath, different types of massage or hydro treatment. You can walk away with change from a EUR50 note, or you can blow EUR500. Nobody will ever know, as you pad around in your swimming cossie, whether you're a millionnairess or simply a tired out Eurocrat in need of some pampering. Go with the girls, and savour the day.

So I proceeded to the waiting room to make sure I didn't miss my appointment only to find out I'm sitting there 20 minutes and no one comes to get me. It is not what I would consider an upscale spa. I visit different spas on a regular basis and based on the website, I thought this would be nicer. Also, if you do not speak fluent French, they do not want to assist you. Tried using the translation app to show them, but they were not interested.
