Whereas my previous PCP had referred to me as "intense" and always kept a mobile, stainless-steel tray between his body and mine, hiding from my onslaught of questions and concerns, Dr. Jendry is absolutely the opposite. Warm, kind, and empathetic, he radiates comfort and support, relying on his decades of experience and education. Bronchitis, sinus infections, flus, requests for bloodwork or MRIS, kidney stones, and maintenance medications. Dr. jendry I find to be the compassionate and willing to do the most digging when it comes to complex medical problems. I have complex needs and he has been nothing short of providing me a quality of life again. Jenny, well she has zero bed side manner. This past week I went in with a severe cough that kept me up, and she sent me in my way saying it's really nothing and to ride it out. I ended up the in ER because I was wheezing, coughing up blood, and couldn't catch my breath. Acute bronchitis. Also, because I was self pay I had only asked since jendry wasn't in if they were okay writing a controlled script to save me another 90 dollar visit, and she insinuated I had 400 of this substance when I did not. I would avoid her appointments if possible. Eileen's husband is the best MA ever. Euler and all the front desk is amazing. I've never seen dr. Glossier but from what I've heard he's pretty outstanding too.

Dr. Mardones is one of the reasons that I carry hope in my heart and she always encourages me to continue to live life with ferocious vivacity. From a clinical perspective, Dr. Mardones has provided me with various options for treatment, explaining the pros and cons of each option, and why she chooses a specific option for my treatment plan. She is extremely thorough (and a genius, I might add) in her explanations and when I need the layman's terms of certain terminology, she never makes me feel like I am less intelligent. I have never felt rushed into making a decision or that she doesn't have enough time to make sure I understand everything fully. That is a rare gem in this current age of "15 minutes or less with the patient" world we are currently living in. Dr. Mardones has also taken the time to know me as a person, not just a cancer patient. She knows my husband's name as well as my dogs and asks about them often. Who does that anymore? Her kindness makes this journey less scary for me. Dr. Mardones also has an amazing staff supporting her. From her NP's like Beth, nurses like Madi to the infusion staff to scheduling (shout out to Vanessa!), I have felt very informed on side effects and expectations for after care, scheduling appointments in an extremely timely manner and understanding the purposes and effects of my scans. In particular, JoDee and Shana in the infusion center have set the standard for professionalism as well as what I like to call "personalism". Again, I don't feel like just another cancer patient to them. They not only take the upmost care in their safety protocols and making sure I know exactly what is going in my body and why, but they also know me as a person. Their smiles and hugs make each visit just a bit easier and less daunting. And I am just one of their patients. They are the exact same with each of their patients. Each time, I left messages for the provider, and the message I got back was, "the provider says you have to come in." These were relatively minor issues that, in the past, other offices were able to answer over the phone. We all know that health care is now big business and the providers don't get paid unless they have someone come in. Recently I called to set up an appointment with an alternate provider (in the same office), and I was told that wouldn't be possible. They even put me on hold to verify this. I have never experienced this before. After reading some of the other reviews, the providers might want to take a serious look at the office staff. It looks like the days of Dr. Welby are in the past (Google it).

Unfortunately, my mother was a resident of Holly Heights Nursing Care Center and Rehabilitation…read morefrom December, 2023 to December, 2024. She passed away on December 3, 2024. I believe the extremely poor quality of her life there, and the lack of medical attention shortened her life significantly. During the first six months of her residency, she received subpar day-to-day care. She did have one CNA that she really liked, but she left when management changed. Complaints during this time period included being soiled for extended periods, slow response to the call button (upward of an hour), filthy living conditions, a mouse infestation, no emotional support and overall rude management that dismissed the family's concerns. My mother's vision greatly declined so it was hard for her to use a phone. We had to rely on staff to bring her a phone to have any type of communication. The staff was always so put out with this request, and would often hang up on family members. You were lucky if someone even answered the phone! It was hit or miss. Fast forward to September, 2024. This is when my mother truly suffered and declined. Ownership changed, which included a whole new administrative staff. They also cut staff and wages for existing employees (which was relayed to me by one staff member). Mom suffered a stroke that sent her to the hospital. Unfortunately, the stroke was undiagnosed by the hospital. She should have had an MRI performed. While in the hospital, she was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection. This to me, is a result of her not receiving proper hygiene care from staff. The biggest health concern, is that my mother was complaining of lower abdomen pain. This was ignored by the staff, doctor and social worker that got involved due to the family constantly asking for help. Because the facility refused to have additional testing done, the family had to go outside of the facility for further testing. As a result of a CT Scan, it was recommended that a colonoscopy be performed. By the time we got the clearance for this procedure from the Cardiologist, it was too late. We waited 8 months for this health condition to be addressed by the facility. My mother was just too weak for the procedure. I believe she had a serious health condition, as this was a hereditary condition that we were concerned about. The food menu changed dramatically once ownership changed. Many food items were discontinued, and food quality was so bad. Many residents complained of how awful the food is. How do I know this? Well, because many residents shared this with me. The food was so bad, that my mother had no desire to eat. Also, due to her stroke, she was unable to properly feed herself. The food was just dropped on her table. She had to fend for herself, and it was a real struggle for her. Every time family visited my Mother, we consistently had to clean off the food that was slopped on her chest, bedding and the floor. She was not able to hold a cup without spilling the contents all over herself and floor. We eventually purchased a non-spill cup for her. My mother was severely depressed in this facility and declined quickly as a result of living conditions and lack of empathy from the staff. The activity director only visited my mother one time (toward end of life). My mother's existence consisted of laying in bed all day, with headphones attached, listening to the same TV program over and over again. Unfortunately, I was out of state, so my visits were not as frequent as I'd like. They did become more frequent once I learned of the appalling living conditions. When I did visit, I was shocked, deeply saddened at what my poor mother succumbed to. She felt helpless and just checked out emotionally. All of the above was reported to the facility, Ombudsman, Colorado Health Department and Adult Protective Services. An inspection was completed by the Health Department 1 1/2 months from my initial complaint. This was just too late. The facility was fully aware of pending inspections from various agencies, so they were able to portray a false impression of what normal conditions are really like because of the heads up. It should be noted, that the staff often blamed my mother the lack of her care. So, let's blame a stroke victim for her declining care? It's just easier for them this way I guess. She did this because she dreaded interacting with many employees, especially the social worker and the new management team. Her concerns fell on deaf ears. This is so shameful and inexcusable! Sadly, new management (director and nursing director) was not accountable in any way for the lack of care for my mother. I was told that weekly communication with the family was a courtesy only and should not be expected, and that they had lives outside of work. Yep, that's what we were told on a phone conference. If you are considering Holly Heights for the care of your loved one, please do your due diligence!

Dr. Weber was very patient in explanations and did a wonderful job on the surgery. Dr Owen and Kayla were attentive about my anesthesia needs and were very helpful and patient! In recovery I had an amazing nurse Jesse! Jesse was so patient and kind and really helpful, did a great job explaining post op care and overall made the experience very smooth. I do think Jesse was exceptional because of the extra care that was put into seeing me as my genuine self as well, on top of all of the other tasks that are needed to be done in post op!

Two nurses came in. EXTREMELY efficient, friendly, kind. Asked all questions patiently. We were not rushed. We were asked if we needed any additional support also. A Dr. came in within 5 min (or less) after the nurses had finished their part. He was professional. (Not great bedside manner, possibly he's young?) wasn't thrilled with his responses. He did treat my husband. Provided a first dose of medication there. And a prescription for him. That was wonderful. Later, when we returned home, I was able to better process what he said. I slept with relief. My husband is fine. Again- the nursing staff are +++++, as are the welcoming staff. So thank you. Also- when I called the next day to give them the workers comp information (nobody was there to assist us the night before) That staff was incredibly helpful.

I have been a patient of Dr Ola's for about a year. Before we worked together, I had been sick for…read moreabout six years, and had seen almost every specialist at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. None of the Mayo doctors really had any answers to explain the root cause of my symptoms. I had been SO healthy my entire life until 2017 when I developed significant pulmonary issues - multiple pneumonias and lung scarring. As things progressed, I began having debilitating headaches and flares that included extreme vomiting and diahrrea (and trips to urgent care for IV fluids and Zofran). On really bad days (a couple of times per week), my pain was so severe I would spend hours sitting in the shower as it was the only thing that brought any relief. Hives would come and go, I had weird brusing, and I had lost half my hair. My body didn't seem to be absorbing nutrition, I was anemic and started ferritin infusions. Labs showed elevated white blood cell counts that required monthly biologic shots. My body was broken. I was hesitant to make plans with friends or family, and could not be the kind of mother I wanted to be. I had to budget my energy - the fatigue was crushing at times. I had tried everything. Paleo/organic very clean and limited diet, professional remediation in our home after a leak, ripped bathrooms to studs just to be safe, replaced AC systems (inside and out), UV light added to AC system, filtered shower and drinking water, threw out all chemicals/ cosmetics/ fragrances. Some things helped a little but my body was still not healing. Dr. Ola was my last resort. She listened to my long story and we began with running tests, labwork, and GI mapping. She was able to pretty quickly determine that I had two HLA mutations that prevented me from detoxing. I also had parasites. We started first with parasite treatment. Parasite treatement is pretty miserable, but you just have to get through it. Dr. Ola helped alot through this process, adding things to help my body through the parasite die-off, and slowing down when my body just needed to rest. This took 6-7 months, but my case was pretty severe and likely the cause of the elevated white blood cell counts. I am now working through detoxing (with a binder) some of the things my body is unable to clear naturally because of genetic mutations. We will retest in a couple of months and she will continue to adjust medications and supplements. I am a different person now and continue to improve. My hair has come back. I have not had a flare episode (vomiting, headache, pain) in 6 months or more. I recently took a weekend trip that included one very late night, and was able to come home and be normal, with no pain, no fatigue, and no crash. This may not sound like a big deal to most people but one year ago this would literally not have been a possibility. My lung function has also improved. I am reminded that it is a privelege to be able to care for my family again and be able to just run errands and meet friends for dinner, like a normal person. Super thankful to Dr. Ola for pretty much saving my life.

I'd been self-treating for years (at HUGE expen see with some success but only reduced a few symptoms. Nothing was going away. My life was getting more and more isolated. I started work with Drs Miles and Diane about 1.5 yrs ago and feel sooooo much better. I'm able to eat more food including fruit. I'm able to exercise rigorously which allows me to consume more calories and nutrients for healing. The most impressive aspect of working with them is that their approach is MORE science-based than western medicine. Since my pcp was unwilling to do the detailed testing or unaware of what to look for, he and specialists never got the data needed to help me. Working w/ MWH is not cheap or easy BUT it's a lot easier and less expensive than living a muted and isolated life while still spending $100s monthly to no avail.
