My broker did absolutely no work. I had to supply all documents, HOA docs, original survey, existing deed, title insurance, etc to buyer's attorney. My broker did nothing. I had to contact buyer's attorney to find out closing date. My broker did not even show up at closing to pick up her check. I called Owner/Agent to complain after closing, and he did not give a darn. Not even an apology or thank you for the business. Find another broker.

As a licensed Ca. agent I provided Kathy Betancourt with two properties to list for sale. Our written agreement provided a 25% agent referral fee to me. Kathy failed to disclose she had a financial interest in the title co. that handled the escrows. I only learned of this after there were multiple problems with the escrow co. giving me inaccurate information along with repeated delays with both escrows, resulting in the buyer of one property cancelling escrow. Despite the fact I found another buyer for that 2nd property, Kathy was still paid her listing agent fee on it. KATHY BETANCOURT NEVER PAID ME MY 25% REFERRING AGENT FEE. She ignored my emails and phone calls. I contacted her real estate office and broker/owner Philip Farhat, and got nothing but the runaround and no calls back. If this agent and her office would cheat me out of a minimal agent referral fee, I shutter to think how they would treat sellers or buyers on larger scale transactions, especially ones from out of town, such as myself! No reputable landlord should expect people to commit hundreds of dollars to a property they haven't been permitted to inspect. This process shifts all of the risk onto the renter while asking them to trust the company blindly. I immediately walked away and rented elsewhere. I hope they change this policy before more renters waste their time and money.

I am offering to get an AC person out here or authorization to buy window units since this maintenance team seems to keep blowing this off. As much as we pay for rent, we should be able to have someone right away for this issue. I am a senior with lung issues with 2 kids in the house. Poor poor service and communication. I am being told I can't speak to anyone and also being denied corporate information so that I can contact either the maintenance supervisor or the property manager. As large as your organization is. this is extremely poor service wihtout any regard to your residents urgent need of assistance. Once again denying me to be able to call an AC technician or purchase any window units. 5 phone calls. Each stating they cannot get in touch with maintenece or that we have to wait for them to review with no time frame of a call back. See less
