Like Elana, we are former clients of Unleashed and stuck with it for a few years. It was fine at…read morefirst, but as it's grown, it's degenerated so much that we no longer feel comfortable leaving our pup there. The space smells horrible -- like urine and bleach -- and dogs in the facility always sound horribly sad. (We've been to numerous doggie daycares in a great many years of being owned by three successive dogs. They don't always sound or smell this unpleasant.) You receive no information about your dog's day unless you sign up for that "perk" for an additional surcharge. (This really rubs us the wrong way!!) They pep your dog up at pickup by giving them a biscuit right before they open that last door, but I have my doubts about whether or not our little girl has actually had an enjoyable day. She always needs to relieve herself as soon as we pick her up, which means that the daycare is not giving her enough opportunities to go during her time there. She is exhausted, not as a result of good physical activity, but because she hasn't been able to sleep or rest during the day. Prices keep increasing and are now higher than many doggie daycares in NYC (where rent is, I'm quite sure, much more expensive). We've met some pleasant employees (including our favorite, a woman who claims she doesn't like people, but is actually quite kind). But I have to concur with Elana that some are just unhappy, rude, and strangely power trippy. Luckily, we've found great sitters and walkers through Rover and some wonderful neighbors. Fingers crossed that we never have to use Unleashed again.

I use to bring my dog to unleashed but now I bring her to Wags in Danbury and oh boy what a…read moredifference, its like night and day. At first Unleashed was ok only because it was close to my home so it was very easy for me to drop her off when I needed to. The part owner Jasmine is extremely rude and has absolutely no personalty, she will only treat you nice on the first day then after that, don't ever expect a hi or any mannerism, I also had a bad experience with one of the staff members I believe her name was Natasha extremely rude and disrespectful, I would come in and always say hey good morning or good afternoon and her response was always half day or full day never no hi or good morning or good afternoon very odd customer service especially when leaving your dog whom is like family, I found myself feeling unsafe leaving my dog there and constantly looking at the cameras, I felt if they can be so rude to me how are they going to treat my dog. I ended up having a dispute with Natasha at one point because I was extremely frustrated with the lack of hospitality. I then called Jasmine the part owner and got the most oddest response from her. She literally told me that she can train her staff till she's blue in the face and it doesn't matter because there gonna do what they want and then followed up with saying she can walk a horse to a river but can't make it drink it. I said WoW I'm done! if you can't control your staff then what kind of business are you running. I feel really bad because the male part owner David actually called me to apologize and offered to help out and also talk to his staff on manners but unfortunately it was too late for me, I will never bring my dog there. The place always smells like dog urine, looks dirty and the staff is constantly on there phones no interactions with the dogs and would stop the dogs from playing by spraying them with water bottles, which is odd, since most people are paying for there dogs to interact with other dogs, I know thats why I take my dog there. All this was witness by me from the cameras. I ended up doing my research and found WAGS in Danbury, OMG upon arriving, the place was so CLEAN AND FRESH and I was greeted with manners and such amazing hospitality. They have over 15 rooms for the dogs to play in both inside and out. There price was cheaper then unleashed and they even offer snacks for FREE! the place and people were amazing. If I can give them 10 Stars I would! nothing compare to Unleashed, which between the untrained staff and cleanliness, they get 0 Stars. My dog doesn't know if a place or staff is good, all she knows is having fun with other dogs, so in that aspect she would love to go to unleashed. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH! THERE ARE WAAAAAY BETTER ESTABLISHMENTS TO TAKE YOUR DOG then Unleashed! Not worth it and my dog would come home smelling really bad every single time!

Angelo saved our dog's life -- and I mean that in the most literal sense possible…read more Oliver is a rescue who had been surrendered by two families before us. We took him in, loved him, and still found ourselves in crisis -- biting, aggression, resource guarding. We were scared of our dog and desperate for help. Oliver was our fifth dog and as a family we were seasoned users of positive reinforcement as the primary training method. We turned to Angelo at Art of K9 and made the decision to board Oliver for 8 weeks. He took on Oliver after a thorough consultation. Angelo worked through Oliver's aggression and resource guarding using the e-collar and other training tools. These methods gave us the ability to communicate with and control our dog in a way positive reinforcement couldn't. The transformation is hard to put into words. Oliver is now relaxed, cuddly, and genuinely at peace. He still has his moments -- but now we have the tools to handle them. This has changed everything. If you have a dog with serious aggression or resource guarding and you're at your breaking point, I highly recommend Angelo. He didn't just train Oliver -- he saved his life and we are so thankful.

We sent our dog Monsi to Angelo- originally because of socialization problems, yet she surprised us…read moreand came out with so many higher level qualities we didn't anticipate or know was possible. At first, we second guessed our choice to leave Monsi for 6-weeks because we missed her. Every time we checked in with Angelo, he updated us, but we missed our fur baby so much. Now, afterwards, I can't stop recommending this program to everyone I know. It's a worthwhile investment IF you plan to KEEP UP with it. All of Angelo's work can easily be undone with dog owners that do not upkeep the foundation he creates. Currently our dog listens to each command after one time saying it, she is walking off leash behind us, does not lurk around the table while we eat or cook, stays in place for 2-hours and counting, and more. Overall, she has many service dog qualities. I need to give credit where it is due because our dog was unsure of herself, very anxious, annoying at times because she didn't know what to do during quiet hours at home and needed way too much physical exercise (4+ hours daily). He taught us, and our dog Monsi, that exercise and socialization looks different than we thought. Monsi is the dog we dreamed of and didn't know how to achieve. He tapped into her potential. She does not impede our life in anyway. She adds on to the quality and is stress free now that we know how to maintain and handle her. Not only that, but my parents sent their dog at the same time as our dog. So now we have two dogs that listen to the same command. We can bring our dogs on vacation and have complete calm and fun with them present. This was the greatest gift to a life of joy with a well trained fur family member! Thank you Angelo and Art of K9. I know picking a program at such a cost is nerve recking since there is not enough information or proof online but promise me, this is the place. We put a lot of trust into prior reviews and tiktok/Instagram videos.... We got lucky finding this place. It's a hidden gem of Westchester. If anyone needs more details to convince you this program is worth it, contact me. I'll convince you- haha!
