Superb laundry facility!…read more If staying in nearby Cortona, I would greatly recommend taking the bus down to do laundry here where it is substantially more affordable than paying for someone to launder your items in Cortona. The Camucia shuttle will take you down the hill for 2€ a person and drop you at the train station. It is only a 5-10 minute walk from the Camucia-Cortona station (5 if you utilize the shortcut by walking south alongside the train tracks and taking the stairs on the left into a parking lot and continuing on). The laundry mat itself is impeccably cleaned and modern. It features 5 washing machines, 7 dryers, and a press. The machines worked very well. There are also vending machines for soap, snacks, and espresso if you're pulling an all nighter - the place is open 24/7. There is ample room for folding and they provide several carts and hampers. They accept cash and coin. Lastly, the owner happened to be there when we were and was very gracious! Greatly recommend for any traveler!

They even took their laundry out of the dryers so we could use them and be on our way, (as we were very clearly tourists). Make it a part of your visit to Montecatini Terme. It's right off A11. We do not recommend Grotta Guisti in Monsummano. The outdoor pool was tepid and the jets not very hard, so there was very little benefit. We did not spend the extra money to sit in the cave, which looked interesting, but we were short on time. And the showers were so weak I could hardly rinse out my long, thick hair.
