The machines are in good condition. I like that they provide wi-fi. I didn't try the card option but it looks like another person did and had problems and that they also had problems getting back enough change. I had only a 20 and I was concerned about getting enough change but thankfully they did have enough change. 4 star experience, but maybe deserves and average of 3 stars overall. read more

While traveling, my wife and I needed to do a load of laundry. Found this on yelp, and read the other review. Despite this, we went ahead and visited. Our experience was excellent. The place was clean and comfortable. The machines were easy to use and instructions were in Portuguese and English. I think there was other languages as well. See photos. We paid less than $15 to wash and 3 drying cycles. We also used the oversized washer which was a little more money. The place felt completely safe to walk to and while we were there for an hour or so between 8-9pm. Highly recommend! read more

Great place to get laundry done...clean and easy to use. It wasn't cheap but it does the trick.

I read all these great reviews of this self service laundromat so we looks them up since we were staying close by. After reading 2 pages of on line instructions on how to operate the machines before we got there we finally ventured out to find it. When we arrived there were no more cards for purchase so the wash costs 1 Euro more 4.90 Euro CASH for a SMALL LOAD MACHINE! I put 5.00 Euro in coin and it wasn't computing so we added more. My husband put a 5.00 Euro bill and it gives us back 3.10, meaning it cost us 7 Euro for ONE LOAD!!! What a RIP OFF!!! We travel all over the globe and wash our laundry pretty much everywhere we go but we have never paid such astronomical prices! NO ONE is monitoring this place and though it is clean and the machines are new, it's crazy to pay 10 EURO for one small washer and dryer, simply ridiculous!!! read more

Comments on space: This is a small laundry with two washers and two dryers. There are four plastic chairs affixed to each other along the wall and the room is fairly small but not uncomfortably so. It was clean when I was there and I felt both safe and comfortable. I am not sure how comfortable that plastic chair would have been if I were there for awhile. I would not have felt comfortable leaving my clothes and going for a short walk while they were in the machines;l. Comments on service: I only needed to dry a few things, so I cannot comment on the washing experience. The directions are painted in multiple languages on the wall and are fairly simple to follow. I stopped the dryer about 5-6 minutes before the end of the cycle to see if my items were dry and could not figure out how to restart the dryer. I am pretty sure it was user error. I was in a hurry so I just took my mostly dry clothes in my merry way. The price seemed reasonable to me. Overall experience: I would go to this Lavandaria again and would pay more attention to the dryer directions. My only caution would be that if you show up to wash and dry and the two machines are full, you could be waiting 5 minutes or 60 depending on when the people before you started their laundry. read more
