Consequently it gets very busy, and can be difficult to find seats together, especially as some sections get roped off for use solely by Emirates or Etihad passengers. The food is decent, but not worth the price if you were to pay for admission. There is a selection of cold soft drinks and a couple of coffee machines that always seemed to have a line up waiting to use. All alcohol is a an additional charge, and not cheap. Typically around €14 a glass of wine or pint of beer.

It's accessible for Amex Platinum card holders, priority pass holders, and maybe more. I arrived early around 8 or so, there was no line, but around 11 there were a few people waiting to get in. The lounge is large and airy with great views for plane watching. There are also a few longer chairs in the back if you want to lay out. There are reserved areas for premium members. The main perk here is the atmosphere. The food was just ok. Breakfast was waffles, chicken sausage, eggs, hash browns, bacon, and an assortment of breads, pastries, yogurt and fruit. Fresh juice and flavored water. In the center there is a bar where it looks like you may need to pay for coffee and adult beverages. Same looked to be true for showers - may have to pay a fee. This may depend on your status. Staff regularly round and clean.

Prima Vista at Terminal 3 is a pretty decent Priority Pass lounge. It also servers as the American Airlines lounge for status/business class travelers (and possibly other airlines). The big knock I have is that it was a little hot inside when we went and it was very full, although we did find a seat with only minimal waiting. Instead of being self-service, the drinks (including soda) are bar service - albeit still free. This was a minor annoyance but in practice it never took much time to get anything, even with the place being very full. The food was a real highlight though - it's a limited selection of meat, cheese, pasta, and some focaccia breads but everything I tried was really quite good for airport lounge food. Still, don't come here planning to find your main meal unless you happen to be after what they have on offer. The food was tasty but it's a small selection of items. The location is also pretty good for those traveling to the US as it's much closer to the gates than any other lounge in the airport.

Get in line to walk past some sad cafeteria style plastic covered plates to place an order for some thing that resembles food on those plates. Oh, you think this is made to order? Absolutely not. "American breakfast". - cold and I mean straight out of fridge scrambled style egg with some spinach and cold mushrooms. Something that resembles bacon, but again questionable. Extremely disappointed. Sorry but when traveling upper class, the fee of the ticket covers an amenity of a lounge with small plates (or large), some kind of snack and lots of drinks that should be poured endlessly. The poor guy behind this counter was charged with serving both coffee / espresso drinks, juice, milk and booze. This is definitely not "happy hour". This lounge services the Star Alliance group out of Terminal 1 which I believe in this terminal comprises Lufthansa, Austrian, and SwissAir

Breakfast had scrambled eggs and bacon along with prosciutto. They make very strong coffee behind the bar. I think this was a terrible lounge before the renovation. Now all fixed up and it's very neat to see that the review has not reflected the update. I would rate this higher than most of the lounges I've been too, considering how new and less crowded it is. At lunch time families start to show up with little kids and it does get very crowded and noisy. As a business traveler with two teenage kids, I understand the concept of raising children, but now that I'm older and have kids who are quiet as mouse, I can't stand the noise as it's difficult to work. That's the only complaint about this lounge. They should have a quiet area and one for work area. But then again, not everyone can get into Polaris lounge where it does not allow family unless you all travel in business class, which we did.

Lots of seating and dining options including some surprisingly inexpensive choices. I got a plate of sliced porchetta, just the meat, for just over €5. Very satisfying. The environment in T3, especially the upper dining floor, is cool, airy with lots of space, and surprisingly subdued in tone despite the volume of people. Relaxing, even! It's a little nerve wracking that the gates are announced so late, 30-45 minutes before boarding, but it's not much of a gauntlet to get to one's gate. T1 and T3 are easily accessible from the train. If you're looking for a last minute postcard drop, there are mailboxes inside T1 at the main departures level, just ask the person at the info booth. Check-in both times went smoothly and the service was courteous. Would appreciate this kind of service in North America. You can given bring up to 2L of liquids through security, gasp! Great airport. Let me clear my throat. You can't be too annoyed at an airport that doesn't lose your luggage and…read moregets you from point A to point B safely; however, my word of wisdom--and what I believe would truly elevate the experience--is stronger, clearer communication. My husband and I arrived at the airport 4.5 hours before our flight and immediately went to the Turkish Airlines counter to check our bags before heading to the VAT tax counter to handle other business. As we approached the counter, no one was there. It was completely desolate. We looked around, checked underneath the counters, peered behind the computer monitors--calling on all angels to locate a human being. We waited about 20 minutes, and during that time, other travelers approached us asking if this was the correct counter, whether the airline was operating, and if anyone was coming. We had no answers either. Eventually, I walked to another counter to inquire about what was happening. That's when we were informed that Turkish Airlines staff do not arrive until three hours before departure. Let me be clear--who would reasonably know that other than employees or someone who has previously experienced this? A simple sign stating, "Counter opens at ____," would have resolved the confusion instantly. Airports are already high-stress environments. Travelers are navigating time constraints, security lines, and tight schedules. Clear signage isn't a luxury--it's basic customer care. A small communication effort would make a significant difference. It doesn't take a rocket scientist.
