We found this place after a quick online search. It was close to our hotel, and open on a Friday night. After 1 week in Europe and another week to go, we really needed some fresh clothes. Matt (owner) couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He even offered to have it done in a couple hours and that we could pick it up after dinner. He lives above the shop, and said that anytime is fine and if he wasn't downstairs, then to ring the bell and he'd be right with us. Two hours later we had fresh clothes & the price was nice - especially compared to what our hotel was charging. Matt was so great, we went back 3 days later for another quick wash. All the positive reviews for this establishment are true. They did not disappoint. . This is the 1st time that I have to use a laundry services while traveling. I was shock with cost our hotel charges for washing each item of clothing. Lavey Livrey solved all our laundry problems. We did not have to travel to wash our clothes and wait for it to finish. I called the number and Matthew answered. He spoke very good English. He said he will be at our hotel in about an hour to pick up our dirty clothes. They also delivered our laundry in boxes folded. He asked me if we have and sensitivity to Landry products. So nice of him to think of this costumers to avoid problem with allergies. Very dependable establishment. read more

Fabulous efficient service by friendly staff. We had a week's worth of laundry for a family of four that would have taken me ages to wash and dry at a laundromat. Instead, I browsed the local shops while I waited. Everything came back clean and fresh in less than two hours and the price was very affordable. Cost us 26 Euro total. I had a wonderful conversation with the owner's dad who was very patient as I took the opportunity to practice my French. He spoke English as well and was more than happy to speak in English if I preferred. Will be heading back in a few days with our next load of laundry. read more

I'm not a big yelp reviewer but Matt deserves all of the stars. we couldn't justify using the hotel laundry services AGAIN at the outrageous prices but were in desperate need of clean clothes. he was prompt in responding to me, came to our hotel outside of business hours to work with our travel schedule (!!!) and returned our clothes 3 hours later perfectly clean, dried & folded. For a mere 29€ for a pile of dirty laundry. An absolute lifesaver while traveling abroad. Matt, we so appreciate you! read more

Really needed laundry done from the tail end of my vacation and found this place near my hotel on Yelp. No reviews so I didn't know what to expect. The place is a little small but the guy attending the place was super friendly and helpful. It's a service and the guy will do a load for you and fold them. I'm sure the folding is a bit extra but it wasn't that expensive and we were flying out in a few days so why not have neatly folded laundry so it's easier to pack. Would definitely come back if I needed to do laundry. Super easy, convenient, and friendly. read more

Staying at a hotel near by here. Got my parents' and my clothes washed here today. Excellent customer service. We got our clothes washed, dried, and perfectly folded in two hours. Mathieu speaks perfect English and he is super nice. Price is very reasonable too. Definitely recommend this place. Staying in Paris for two more days so I might go back one more time. We were visiting France and needed to get some laundry done. Our own hotel charged 12 euros for a pair of socks! We found Lavey Livrey and called. Matthew, the son answered and spoke English. He came to our hotel to pick up the laundry for a small fee and did two good size bags of laundry for 32 euros. We were going to have it brought back the next day but realised we needed it that night for a trip the next day. We texted him and he brought it back that night! He was very polite and folded all our clothes very nicely. We will definitely use him again. read more

I rarely ever write reviews, but this service is too amazing to not comment. Pickup and delivery is an option (sounds fantastic), but I dropped off my laundry the morning of my last day in Paris, and then picked it up folded and placed in my suitcase just before I took the train out of the city that evening. I even left my other bag with Mathieu while I was out for the day (since I had already checked out of my hotel). I returned, paid 12 euros, and I was on my way. It was simply fantastic to not have to spend my last day in Paris sitting in a laundromat. read more

We arrived in Paris after 10 days in Amsterdam needing to do laundry to make it through our week of adventures and sightseeing. I checked the laundry services at our hotel and discovered that it would cost us 272 euros to get all our laundry clean. Then I checked Yelp for options. I saw the reviews for, and decided we needed to check out, Lavey Livery. We packed up all our laundry and caught an Uber. When we got out of the Uber we discovered that it was closed. We pushed our faces up to the window and were contemplating our next move when the door opened next to us. Out came, Mathieu, a delightful young man who spoke fantastic English. He told us he lived upstairs and could help us. He washed and folded all our laundry in less than 2 hours and only charged us 12 euros. He texted me on my cell phone when he was done. Excellent service at a very fair price! I am in Paris for work and pulling long hours. It was easy to get a hold of the company, and they were very accommodating and spoke English. Matthew was punctual both picking up and returning the items- even driving to a far part of town for a few loads of laundry. If you need laundry service, this is the best place. We emailed Matt to let him know we needed hotel pick up and drop off for wash, dry and fold service for my family's laundry.
