These guys have been working on my sprinkler systems and my yard for years and I should've written this way before now, but they are good people, do what they say they're gonna do, and do it at a reasonable price. I had something devastate my yard this last year (not their fault) but the owner, Darryle, spent time walking around the yard with me today telling me the things that need to be done to get my yard back to the way it used to be. He was incredibly busy, but he took the time and I really appreciate it. When his crew is done they always leave things like they were before they showed up. That's hard to find these days! We had 1 good year of service for weed treatments, but this year has been nothing but problems. I have weeds overtaking my yard. And after 5 months with many phone calls and supposed supervisor callbacks, I am getting no help. They are happy to take my money and not deliver results. read more

Their tree trimming service was decent but their overall service and customer experience was average...perhaps a bit below average. Multiple invoices, slow and confusing follow up, choppy communications. Its likely that more satisfying options are available. read more

I was one of the very first customers for Lawn Tech many years ago. Everything was great for many years, they even installed my sprinkler system. Ten years ago service started to decline. Three years ago my lawn started going downhill so I called to discuss but I got the runaround. Office staff said they would pass along my issues but never got a call back. For eighteen months I tried to get owner to call me back but office staff would not let me talk to him. They said if I was dissatisfied I could get somebody else to do the weed kill and fertilization. I was stunned. I just wanted to talk to the owner to express my concerns and discuss office staff being blatantly rude and blowing off my issues. Office staff actually said that customers don't pay their salary, Daryl pays them!! Who runs a business this way? I would not recommend this company for anyone. Not only did I cancel service but so did my two neighbors as they had the same problem. Switched to TruGreen and service has been outstanding. They are a little more expensive but sometimes you get what you pay for. Terrible customer service. read more

***** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ***** Called this company on July 23rd for information on a front bed landscape project. Adeline setup appointment for August 27 and told me the consultation was free and there would be a written out quote after the consult. Everything is confirmed. Adeline calls me on August 13th and leaves a voicemail saying, "There is an appointment set up for me and wanted to go over a little bit of the landscape consultation. The design fee is a 2 hour minimum of $130 and if the proposal is accepted, the fee is applied to the overall bid. She asks to either pay by check when Mr. Taylor arrives or call the office to pay by credit card." I called her back to say there wasn't mention of a consultation fee. She replied we charge a fee every time. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! read more

I tried using them and got a break in price for the first session to do the whole season. After the first treatment, I still had weeds and spotty grass. I called to do a spot treatment and they came out and killed all the english ivy in my flowerbeds. Had the first summer treatment and the lawn still has weeds and grass was spotty yellow. I called today to cancel service and explained why when they asked. She informed me that since I was canceling service, they would have to charge me the full price since I wasn't going to use them the whole season. So basically, service sucked so when I choose to cancel, they don't offer up an apology, but charge you MORE because I canceled. Not a refund because they didn't do what they were paid to do, but CHARGES ME MORE! I'll be posting this in the neighborhood FB sites to warn potential victims. read more

These guys do a great job maintaining my yard every week. They do annual trimming of trees and shrubs as well. Nothing but professional and very responsive to any of my special requests. Always reliable. Will continue to use this company and recommend to friends. read more

Never, Never, Never use this company. I can only speak of my experience but it was not a good one. On more than one occasion I felt as though I was getting charged ( I only did every other week) and my yard was not being mowed. I called to find out exactly when their service tech did my yard and I started watching. After this I was home one day and they parked in front of my home but mowed my neighbors yard not mine. I took pictures of the truck and the man mowing and called to complain. They sent John out and he disputed that the man had not mowed my yard. I showed him the pictures but he still argued. I was home the entire time and know that the man did not mow my yard. John said he would talk to he owner and try to get the charge taken off because he knew I wouldn't pay it. Who would pay for something they didnt get? The next week we put off have some work done on our house on Wednesday because that was the day the yard was going to be done, what do you know, they didn't show up. My husband called an terminated their services. Instead of taking off the charge for the mowing that never happened the billed my credit card. You have to give them one when you set up your account. Three weeks and still no quote on a sprinkler system. I have followed up twice. They can't even tell me if the measurements have been done. They leave messages for the supervisor and no response. Guess they have enough business so they don't need anymore. Extremely disappointed in them. read more

I was very satisfied with the work that they did do, and the price they did it for. I was looking forward to having a relationship with this company. That was a couple months ago. When they came out and gave me their original quote, the man decided the work would be split between two separate jobs. The first job -- the biggest -- was completed in a very timely fashion. The second job? I called several times, finally getting the answer that they hadn't forgotten about us. Another couple weeks go by. It's the growing season now and every other landscape company is too busy for new clients. I get a call this morning...they're too busy to do the job they agreed to do. All of this was for my mother's house. She's retired and ill. I have been unable to find anyone who has time to do the work at this point, and all she does is worry about her yard. It's driving me crazy. Thanks, Lawn Tech. You've been in business a long time but if you give others the same run around you gave me, you won't be around a lot longer. I was speaking with my mother a few minutes ago and it turns out she may have went to high school with the owner of this company. I will update this review if he makes it right. She shouldn't have to be dealing with this, though. read more
