Dylan visited the property and decided one of the trees was too big and wanted to charge higher amount ($650). I agreed. He then set out to do absolutely whatever HE felt was convenient. He cut one tree down. "Trimmed" another tree. At this point he called me and said he's done with 2 trees, can I send in the money for finishing up two trees. This was a blatant lie. I did not ask for proof, because I didn't think disgusting liars like Dylan existed anymore. I sent him the money. He sent me photos of what he did afterwards, which showed two of three trees still standing. On asking why there are 2 trees still up, he mentioned he spoke to the tenant and decided to keep the tree up. This didn't make any sense. Nobody changes the agreement without discussing it, lies about it to the person paying and gets paid as though they did the full work. That's when he ended up "finishing" the other tree with minimal work done (of trimming) because he had enough with this. Mind you his communication with me was to say nothing about all of this until he got paid, then he said his life was in danger to cut trees. Like who the heck forced him to work on things he didn't want to? He then said he'll "make it right" by showing up on Monday to fix it. Would you guess what happened next? He didn't show up and decided to run away with the money. Dishonest cheats like this shouldn't exist. I'm now looking at legal options to deal with the mess. Please find someone more honest to work with.

!!! BEWARE !!! Jody…read moreand his brother Austin were hired to patch some Sheetrock that the AC crew had to cut to access and change the boots out. Before completion they demanded payment, and refused to finish the job. Jody insisted the work was complete. (See photos for reference of the "complete" patches.) This is what the patch jobs look like after 2 trips out to do the work. I am a contractor, to clarify. After the first trip I asked Austin how he would like to be paid? cash,check or Venmo? He answerd with cash or venmo. I told him the home owner wrote a check and I would send it his way as soon as the check cleared the bank. At that point it was past 5pm on Friday, the funds were scheduled to be available on the following Tuesday. When they made the second trip on Saturday, they didnt bring all the required materials to finish the job. Austin a Jody and said they would be back later that evening to finish. I received a text message a little while later saying they would not come back and finish the work until they had been paid. On the following Monday, Jody was blowing up my phone with nothing but slander. And demanding he be paid right away. I reminded him of our agreement that they would get paid whenever the check had cleared (Tuesday). I had also hired Jody and his brother Austin to do some cabinet and build a custom bunkbed. The initial quote states, payment will be collected at completion. After they agreed on a start date they demanded I give them daily draws. All in all it was a horrible experience.

I reached out to the community looking for a recommendation and was given this guy's number. We went through the whole process of getting a quote, signing a contract and then paid $600 upfront to cover cost of supplies. The day he was supposed to come he was a no show and very hard to reach. When I did reach him he'd say just enough to settle my worries and keep me hopeful. Day2 after moving around plans etc to wait on him yet again, he went from 20 mins away to dropping something off at another site to a no show. And now never returning my calls or texts. Turns out it's his girlfriend who recommended him. I am so disgusted, my husband works hard to provide for our family, and this guy ripped us off a week before Thanksgiving! I am left having to come up with even more money that I don't even have to get my project finished as it is a serious safety concern. I did reach out and ask for our money back, or at the very least the materials, but unfortunately he is no longer answering me. I do not like leaving bad reviews but I hope I can save someone else from going through this, maybe he'll even reach out and resolve this

The closet he built us does not have a right angle in it and one side is a full inch and a quarter longer than the other, making it very difficult to find a door. The sliding door he installed is not centered so there's this weird filler on only one side. He didn't give us the correct measurements to purchase the door in the right size to begin with, which I think caused the off-center installation. Either he decided he couldn't do the work or got bored with the job, either way, he left us, for weeks, in the middle and went to do another job (very well reviewed, with pictures on Yelp). He made excuses every day (he was sick, his dogs got loose, Home Depot didn't have what he needed...) about why he couldn't come, never mentioning he was working on a different job. We only found out when we were looking through Yelp and saw their review. He finally showed back up with workers that he hadn't had before and asked that I pay half of their day's wages ($400 which was not an agreement in the original bid). The next time I saw him, he showed up around noon, got nothing done for a whole half day then left again. That was the day we decided we had to change. We needed the work done by March and he had proved we could not rely on him. (By the way we are still struggling, as elderly people unable to do the work ourselves, to get the work completed and it's now the following January). We had paid him in full for several jobs that he either did not do at all or did not complete. We requested a refund. He gave most of it back, in small amounts, with a couple of months prodding online, but never came through with the final $100 he owed us. I was angry, but now I'm just sad because he seemed like a nice guy, but as the job wore on it was obvious it was just too big for him and he had an excuse every day why he couldn't be here on time, why he couldn't be here at all and why he always needed more money. He would go to Home Depot every day and buy supplies that we paid for and one day he decided to buy himself a new power tool, that we paid for. I guess nice people have issues too. Sadly, I would not recommend him.
