They were more expensive than 3 other companies we got estimates from, but they seemed professional and knowledgeable so we chose them. The day they were supposed to come out, they didn't show up. No phone call or anything. We had to text and call before we got a response. They were short-staffed - which is understandable and it happens. So we asked how quickly we could reschedule... and we got a NASTY response from Monte. Super rude and totally unprofessional! If he had said "sorry, we'll get you reschedule asap", all would have been fine. However, he sent some snarky text responses and said that we're "lucky" to get rescheduled as they're so busy. Would NOT recommend this company to anyone - they likely won't show up.

I received open ended bids, or as one contractor stated "this is going to cost you" or was ghosted. I went local, Burnsville. I found KBL Landscaping. The website stated they were reliable and claimed they completed projects on time. Antonio came out and provided me a bid. I changed my mind and he again came out to verify with me just want I wanted. That was the beginning of 8+ projects. Antonio was very easy to communicate with and let me know of changes in availability of products immediately. He honored my choices and he designed my landscaping as I had no vision. The plants, retaining wall, planting beds, deck , removing old planters and the lighting gave me my own private oasis. His choices have given me a yard I did not imagine. It is truly magical when night falls and the lights come on. Antonio and his crew work ethics are impressive. They were respectful of my home and my neighbors. They let me know when they went to lunch so I could let my dogs out. They were very reliable, and all projects were completed when promised. Antonio was on site working everyday alongside his crew. KBL Landscaping came to my rescue when I was overwhelmed. The professionalism and quality of work is exceptional.

Now onto the the actual work. I contacted them months ago for some estimates and Jim/Virgil was great to work with. He came out as requested and gave fair estimates for both drywall work, replacement stairs, and ceiling work. He even came out a second time to give an estimate for some replacement siding. The drywall crew consisted of two guys who spent a few days working on a small section in the basement, they made sure to make things look their best and did a decent job cleaning up each night. They were polite and always listening to my feedback. 5 stars there. The siding guy came out and replacement some cedar shakes on the side of the house that were missing from an old deck removal. He did a great job and cleaned up the worksite very nice. I was impressed with the speed. Again 5 stars. Jim himself came out for the ceiling work, he did a great job hooking up the electric and making sure the panels lined up to the existing grid. Again 5 stars. My only gripe was the billing, Their online system worked, but I think some deposits I made were just lost. Regardless they eventually took care of it... so updating my review to reflect this. Thank you, I for sure recommend them for contracting work, just double check the bills before paying. =)

The quote was good so I called back confirming I'd like to go ahead with 2 of the 4 items, asked if they could give me a time window and was told "Nope, someone will call you". I had no call 3 days later so I called again and was told they'd have the owner or his son call me back and let me know. I figured it's been storming so maybe they just forgot; no call again. Waited until the following week and called again, was told "sorry, we'll give you the owner's cell and he'll call you back" so I called and left him a message... no call back. Today I called back again and asked to have them cancel because it has been over 2 weeks since my original call and they haven't even been able to be bothered to give me a 5 minute phone call to talk to me. So essentially I called them 5 times in 2 weeks and gave them all the benefit of the doubt and received zero return communication. Looking for a new company that shows some interest in their customer.

The branches were cleared better than we had hoped for, and all clean up and haul away was done by MSP. I would definitely recommend this company to others, and they will be the only company we contact in the future when needed.

I first heard of this company from my sister who used them in her heavily wooded home that had multiple trees that needed to be trimmed back and one or two that she needed removed. She used them and was thrilled and recommended them to me when I was looking for a tree company. I then used them to remove two very large (30+ foot tall) trees and grind the stump. They did that work and did an excellent job! This company does great work and can't recommend them enough. As I said I'll be calling them again to have them do some tree trimming in the rear of my house for this season.

So we needed a tree service. Pronto. After calling a few places and leaving messages, I contacted Jose at J&J. To my utter amazement he said they could come out that afternoon. Who does that? To compound the problem we had a sudden showing popped up an hour later. I told Jose he had to get the trees down before the buyer showed, he said he could, and he did. It was awesome. They took these two 40-50' trees down, carted them away, and tidied up. All in a couple of hours. As an example of good service the. They saw us tidying up the rest of the yard with my leaf blower, one of the guys came over with their industrial strength blower and helped us in short order. Jose was very easy to deal with, gave amazingly prompt service, and charged a most reasonable fee. Bailed us out of a problem situation. So J&J get my highest recommendation.

Ygor came out to assess the integrity of the roof to see if any repairs were needed. After carefully looking at everything, including going into the atic to look at the decking, he said that only a couple of minor things would need to be fixed. I so appreciate his honesty and professionalism. If you are in need of a roof this is DEFINATELY the company to call!
