I am a customer of Dr. Lawrence Metzger. I have had dental procedures performed in the past with other dental professionals and have had wonderful experiences.However, NOT THIS TIME.NOT THIS DENTIST. LEAVE IF HE WALKS INTO A ROOM !!!!!! I went to this dentist with a positive mind set. After all, a dentist who is able to perform sedative dentistry should be able to remove a tooth from a patient under a local . This dentist has very POOR bedside manner. He began to jab in my gum with the needles and did not take any time to prepare my gum or the roof of my mouth. When I began to holler, he said don't scream. He never asked once if i was ok or if i needed more time. He began to quickly try to pull the tooth out of my mouth as though he was on a clock and had to hurry into the next room to operate on the next patient. He was very RUDE and when i began to mumble no and moan , he ignored this and continued to pull on my gum. I held my hand up to stop the procedure. I have very long roots and it takes extra novacane when I get procedures done. When I held up my hand, it poked his eye. He became belligerent and began yelling I cant finish this with you. I said ok , I have dental insurance so you can itemize what you have done and i will leave because i have never been any where and had a doctor yell at me like this. When looking for a dentist, remember that a part of the dental creed is to do no harm. This man has harmed my spirit and i do not want others to experience this.
