Month after month, I called and emailed asking for updates, and every time I was told someone would "get back to me." No one ever did.. What makes it worse is how convincing Charles was in the beginning. He comes across as kind, patient, and professional during the consultation just to gain your trust. But once they have your money, that's where the professionalism ends. You won't hear from anyone again, and your case will sit untouched. I finally asked for a refund, and still haven't received it. This has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I've ever had with a business. They took my money, wasted my time, and gave me nothing in return. Update 11/26/2025 I spoke to Charles on 11/10 and he gave me a fedex tracking number and told me I would receive my refund in two days. Two weeks and no refund. I had to go up to his office today, the day before Thanksgiving and DEMAND my refund. He kept blaming the delay on his "accountant". HE IS SCAMMER !!! DO NOT HIRE HIS OFFICE TO DO ANYTHING FOR YOU. I think the old adage "you get what you pay for" applies here. I can't complain about Joe as a person, because he was a nice guy, but his office was pretty disorganized, and I had to take the initiative to reach out numerous times to get status reports and updates rather than his office keeping me apprised. Also, at the actual closing, he sent some random attorney that I had never met before without even giving me a heads up that someone else was going to show up to my closing. It really wasn't appreciated right before the largest purchase of my entire life to that point, and I just stood there like, "who the hell are you?" until she introduced herself. Last thing that turned me off was that literally the day after I got the key to the house, the ceiling collapsed from a roof leak that the owner lied about, and when I called him to ask him for his assistance, he basically told me that I should call a litigation attorney, but that it wouldn't be worth it and there was nothing much I could do about it. That very well may have been the case, but for an incredibly distressed first-time homebuyer facing an emergent $20K repair the day after buying the house, it was a very not-compassionate response. This was my first closing, so maybe all real estate attorneys handle the "small apples" cases the same way, but I definitely got the sense that I was just one faceless, nameless person for them. I hired PP Servers on 6/12/26 for process service with a confirmed completion deadline of 6/25/26…read more The deadline passed with no completion. After following up, the office initially told me nail-and-mail service required a court order and that proceeding without one would be "bad service." This is incorrect and I had to point that out to them before they acknowledged the error and proceeded. They then estimated the corrected service would be completed by ~7/7/26. It wasn't actually completed until 7/10/26, and I wasn't sent the affidavit until 7/13/26, roughly three weeks past the original deadline, and only after multiple follow-ups on my end asking for status. Beyond the delay, the affidavit itself shows a roughly two-week gap between the last due diligence attempt (6/24) and the eventual nail-and-mail completion (7/10). I'm hoping it holds up in court since nail-and-mail is generally expected to follow closely after the underlying attempts establishing due diligence. If you need service completed on a time-sensitive matter, budget for significant delays beyond what they quote, and be prepared to double-check the validity of what you receive.
