We had them coming in twice a day and provided a great deal of employment. My father was a wonderful man full of humour and very gracious, but having a hard time with getting meals and taking his medication and insulin. When dealing with scheduling from another province we asked if they were able to use google drive so we did not have overlap with another agency that was providing care with cleaning and errands. They cancelled their services effective immediately. They left a man without care knowing family was in Ontario and Alberta, they left us scrambling and he was confused and upset and hurt in what became his final two weeks of life. There was no rational reason to cancel services. We were fine with "no we can't". They actually said that they were cancelling because we asked. I wouldn't trust them with the care of another loved one. So deeply disappointed.

Most of the workers just want to sit down and watch tv. When you do get someone who will work, they speed through as fast as they can, (doing a half-assed job) so they can leave early. When they sweep, they don't even sweep under the dining table. There could be visible crumbs, and they will leave them there. When they are in another room from you, they take their phone with them and are always on their phone instead of working. I could give ten other examples on the poor quality of the workers, but on to the company itself. On one holiday, they called to say that the worker had called in sick and they couldn't get someone to replace them, that they would send someone the next day. The next day they said they couldn't find anyone, so wouldn't be able to make up the visit. The next time the worker who had "cancelled" that day came, she said she was told that WE had cancelled! Obviously, the company didn't want to pay holiday pay (time and a half) so lied to both of us to cancel the visit. Their scheduler, Jen, constantly LIES. If you're disabled or elderly, she'll say that you're the one who's confused, to cover up her lying. When I reminded her that I had emails with schedules attached from her to corroborate my complaints, she stopped sending emails and schedules. She now refuses to put anything in writing, and will only speak (more like bark) at you over the phone. She is often rude, condescending and LIES as much as Trump. Between her and the terrible workers, this company is an absolute nightmare to deal with.

Plus they always have 2 litre cartons of milk for 2.99 which is a great deal. I always stop in here for my tooth brushes, mouthwash and toothpaste as it's cheaper here then at a place like Sobeys. Only really recommend if you live in the area.

Pharmacare instead sent delivery fellow to pick up health card & prescription. Later returning with card & filled script. Very seamless and caring service while keeping cOVID precautions .
