It was frustrating to pivot and all three of us were out the cost of the outfits at that point. While all that was annoying the kicker is that they didn't refund my card as the email stated they would. Which is the least they could do after cancelling unexpectedly so close to the event date. Now I have to go through my credit card dispute process.

My friends and I did the 3p tour, we're all there 15min beforehand ready to get checked in. Just for them not to be ready to get underway til abt 3:45 and they didn't seem very apologetic abt it. They claimed being short staffed and the "queen" was stuck in traffic. In any case it just wasn't a good look for our first experience. Because of the late start, we didn't get much time at the 7th street market, it didn't feel like the full 30min as claimed in the trip description. Thankfully it wasn't piping hot out since we had to wait 45min standing outside the bus waiting for them to finish setting up, but most folks were annoyed and irritated regardless and it didn't help matters that we were told they were out of two drink options when we were handed the menus, but I would still recommend because it still is a great time to get dressed up with friends. Just hopefully others experiences will start in a timely fashion.

I like both, so I think this tour is awesome. I've done the tours in Carrboro and Charlotte, and both were great! It's fun to try new bars and new beers. The walking is pretty minimal - enough to warm you up if it's cold, but not so much that you'll overheat when it's warm. I've done the tour in a group of 2 and a group of 5, and it was fun both times. The beer pours were very generous, too! The puzzle-solving part of this tour is great because it requires you to pay attention to your surroundings as you walk from bar to bar. They also involve some trivia and wordplay. The mysteries of each tour are different, so I'm looking forward to solving the mysteries in Asheville and Durham next!

We'll definitely be going to other missions in the future and hope that Brewed Clues expands into other states than NC. (I let them know that I'd like to see it in Richmond's Scott's Addition next.)
