I had a wonderful time looking at yesteryear blow-molds, truly vintage Santa's, Milk Bottles, all of those incredible items. The store is large and extends pretty far back with an emphasis on a lot of glass, ceramics, crystal. There were wood items too that were quite rustic as well as some of the old fashioned jugs-crocks. To me, the prices were quite high. I'm sure there may be some bargains plus I'm certainly not an antique expert. The wade figurines offered by red rose were 3$ a piece but where I normally go, they are 1$- just one example. I would definitely go back and it was enjoyable seeing the history and walking down memory lane.

This place is saturated with glassware, all placed low at their level. While the configuration is nice and wide, I wouldn't recommend bringing kids or a stroller. Thankfully (and after a lecture from me) they kept their hands to themselves. I love putzing around antique and thrift stores, however this one didn't really capture my attention. The items weren't unique, were overpriced, and as my girls said "had a funny (musty) smell". Most of the inventory consisted of glassware and dishes, although they did have some other items, but nothing worth a second glance. We weren't greeted upon entry and honestly I don't even recall seeing anyone working the counter. We were the only customers in the store. On the plus side the store was clean, and like I mentioned early spacious to walk thru without knocking anything over. It just wasn't for me. 2 hour street parking is out front with a large two story antique store across the street, so although this wasn't for me, if you like to hunt it's worth a visit.

I followed the Instagram tag posted in the window and found out more about the shop. To my amazement, I found the shop to be right up my alley and went to their etsy shop. I absolutely love the tote bag I ordered. It shipped quickly and has excellent quality. Talking to the owner was a great experience as well. I found them to be most friendly and helpful. I was also able to see on Instagram previous items the shop was selling and everything looked spectacular. I simply can't wait to actually enter the store because it looks like the renovation will turn out beautifully and the items are whimsically unique.
