The whole unit is nice and clean. The bathroom is small with no counter so if you use the top shelf to place your toiletries on, be sure to remember them when packing up (I Totally Forgot Them). The shower stall was plenty big enough for us and has a quick supply of hot water with no pressure issues. The towels are excellent, they actually absorb water and dry you off. There is a kitchen we didn't use but the full size refrigerator was a plus. The air conditioner did a pretty good job filtering out all the smoke from the wild fires. We like to turn AC units off at night because of the noise, and open a window. None of the windows here are operable though. Probably for the best considering the unhealthy outside air. The neighborhood is quiet with only two noisy vehicles all night long. Be aware however that construction begins at 6:30 am on the large project directly across the street. It is unlikely you can sleep through any of the sudden din. Earplugs would be helpful, but of course I did not bring them. The locking system for the door is a great idea and so easy to use. You get to use four digits of your phone number and it's already set up! We really enjoyed all the restaurant choices close by that were in walking distance. The route meant walking through the capitol building grounds, which were kind of cool. We didn't use the available bicycles but maybe next time!

It's crazy to think that everything was contactless. You get a code for the door, you pay in advance, and there isn't a need to see anybody. Our unit was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the walkability to downtown and the State Capital. We walked to downtown everyday of our stay. We weren't around much to soak in the property. There is laundry in the back, and a backyard you can relax in. We did read out on the porch while sipping on a can of beer. That was fun. I highly recommend staying at the Boise Guest House. Especially if you are someone that's independent and doesn't want the fuss of hotels. Oh, we never figured out how you can use the bikes. Make sure to ask before your trip. I was hoping that there was information, but I couldn't figure that out.

Little touches like the warm floors and rooftop hot tub really make the experience feel special. The location is also a big plus ; easy access to the Greenbelt, nearby restaurants, and a great area to just relax and enjoy your time. What we appreciated most was how the space made us feel; relaxed, present, and able to slow down for a bit. Only small note would be the stairs to the bathroom, but it wasn't a big issue for us. Overall, a great stay and definitely a place we would come back to.

Shower was fine, so most certainly would recommend this place. But overall this chain seems to be like Holiday Inn- overpriced- so this one is different for that regards.

The coffee tasted really watered down and weak not great if you actually need coffee to wake up in the morning. The biggest issue though was the water. The tap water left this really slippery, almost slimy feeling on your hands and skin that I could never get used to. We stayed there for 3 weeks, so it definitely wasn't a one-time thing. It actually got bad enough that I slipped getting out of the bathtub and hurt my wrist. My wrist was messed up for about 2 weeks afterward. When we mentioned it, they told us they had recently softened the water again, which explained a lot. Another thing people should know: if you prepay and end up needing to leave early, you may not get that prepaid money back. That was frustrating and something I wish we had known upfront. Not the worst place by any means, but definitely had some drawbacks especially for longer stays.

The room shower was frankly coffin sized, and it showed a lot of old dark mold around the bottom border of the shower and in the corners where the sheetrocked walls met. The corners were covered by some kind of thick tape/adhesive plastic that was peeling away from the walls & you could see the old dark mold behind it as well. The bed was clearly past its prime given how bouncy it was & the little crater you sank into in the middle, and it made for a pretty crappy night's sleep. It was matched by the blackout curtains whose blackout backing was ripped away in places. Outlets in the lamp pulled out when you pulled out the plug of whatever you were charging. The app I found it in showed a rating of 7.9. I think that was an overblown number. Pluses: * The staff seemed kind and friendly. * The air conditioning worked very well. * The neighborhood was decent. * It really was very clean aside from the shower. * The outside parking area was very nice.

My family and I came for a week and now we are approaching 4 as our new home has still not received occupancy. The staff here has helped us every way possible. For a night, a week, a month, or longer. This is the place you want to stay!

They have a very nice picnic area with 2 grills, firewood, and picnic tables. The spaces are fairly long, not too wide, but we had enough room to put out all of our slides. We had a grassy area to the right with a picnic table and a nice tree for some shade in the heat of the day. There is a nice area for tents. There are two restrooms and 8 private showers. All of the staff were nice as were the other campers. No issues with loud noise at all. We will definitely stay again when our travels bring us this way. Around the area....shopping and anything you might need is in Boise about a half hour away. We went to Lucky Peak State Park. It has a river, a lake and a dam, and a nice sandy beach. There's a nice grassy area at the park with tables for picnics. The drive is beautiful and not too long. Majestic mountain views.
