This is a great pull through site. It is very clean throughout the RV park, pool area, laundry, and shower/bathrooms. They sell propane on their site too. They have a well kept pet area. This place is big to get some dog walking in. There is a Maverick gas station across the street with the best diesel price that we found. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only negative is you do hear loud traffic due to a major road if your up by the office. It is close to the highway, which makes it easy for exiting and entering. read more

Very well maintained and affordable family-owned RV Park! They are very affordable compared to other RV parks in the area, not to mention they have way more amenities than them. Everyone is so friendly here especially the employees. My Dalmatian absolutely loves the dog park they have on grounds along with the designated dog walk around the perimeter of the park. Great location too! Across the street from D&B Supply and a brand new gas station that's near completion. read more

Wonderful stopping place while driving through Oregon. We spent the day with family and Papaw stayed at the motor home to kick back. Camp ground is nice. Gravel pad sites with concrete patios. Bags of ice are available at the office. Grass is so green and soft. Dog park is perfect or you can just take a walk around the park. Pool, hot tub and shallow water pool are well kept and perfect for a hot day. The bathrooms were super nice and the bath mats were a nice comfortable touch! Water pressure was good and warm. There are several places close by to get a bite to eat or stock the frig! If we ever come back through we will stay here for sure! read more

One of the G7 resorts which has locations in Idaho, Washington and Arizona. The park felt new and it was extremely clean and organized. We stopped here for just a single night to break up a long drive. The sites are pull through except for the back in sites around the edge. The sites are gravel, but it is the nice gravel that is thick and packed tight. Each site has a concrete living area with a picnic table and a grass area. There is plenty of space for parking a car, trailer, etc. at the site. They offer a nice pool area with clean showers and restrooms. This is by far the best place I've ever had the pleasure to stay at. Clean bathrooms and they even give you a clean bath mat to stand on after your shower. Staff are the friendliest in all my years of camping and traveling that I've ever had. They even have a puppy (dog) park for your fur babies to run around in, the spots are very easy to get in and out of, so easy in fact my wife could do it lol. They just put a new bigger hot tub in and it's hot and accessible year-round, the only con I found and it may not matter to most is , they are a little ways away from stores and such, I personally prefer it that way but that's it, other then that this place is very well kept up and clean, will recommend to everyone I know that will be coming through. They went above and beyond to find them a spot when Snake river resort did not recognize their reservation that was made in January 2023 ! My husband and I with our baby were in town due to a temporary work job he started as a pharmacist and we have a 2002 Truck Camper in incredibly nice shape. However upon calling them to ask about a reservation for a weekly rate (since the monthly ones were all taken) apparently they discriminate against older RVs and declined us right away right when I told them what type of RV we had. We were really hoping to be able to stay at this spot since it within a 15 minute walk to the gym we are currently going to for me to walk my son with a stroller, and It would make for an easier commute for my husband. They do NOT sound like very nice people over there making judgments about us based on the year of our RV and only care if you have a larger, decent newer RV. The people at Abundant Life RV were much nicer to us instead. read more

This is one of the best private RV parks we've ever stayed at. Super clean and very well maintained with grassy mowstrips and concrete pads with picnic tables between each rig. There are quite a few "permanents" mostly at the parameter, but they are all well maintained and some have really attractive set-ups. Dogs are welcome - they have a large grassy pet area, but there doesn't seem to be daily watering so it smelled a little like dog pee. We took our dog for a walk off leash behind the fence where there is a nice, graveled walkway. WIFI and Cable were Excellent! The Rec hall and game room is very nice too, and so are the attendants. As most RV Parks located in cities there is some road noise, as well as small single engine plane traffic from the nearby airport during the day - but it didn't bother us much. We stayed 6 nights, and will definitely stay there again. TIPS We didn't get to do much due to COVID19 issues, but there is a CostCo and lots of other stores nearby. The only notable thing is that in Idaho nobody wears masks, so we stayed clear of all stores. The lowest price gas/diesel station is Maverick. read more

Our family just spent two weeks here (5/5-5/19 2019). In case you didn't know (and we didn't before we came down to drop our child off at college) this particular area of Idaho is experiencing the largest economic boom IN THE COUNTRY. Housing is EXTREMELY difficult to find, to such a point that even the RV parks are booked solid. Even if we had wanted to, Ambassador would not allow us to stay longer than 2 weeks on their grounds. They had no monthly slots open. So what is my take on Ambassador RV after spending 14 days there? PRO's 1.) The cleanest, individual private full bathrooms I have EVER seen at a campground or even a hotel in all my 45 years of traveling. Appreciate that a floor mat is provided because of the intrinsic slipping danger of tile floors. Many heartfelt thanks for the hard work of the janitorial staff who cleaned these facilities every single day, especially Diana. In my opinion, she is the very best thing about Ambassador RV. I also worked as a custodian for a time, and so I really appreciated her cheerful "can-do" attitude and her impeccable work. Give the woman a raise! 2.) Beautiful grounds with cement curbing and patios, gravel parking and twice-weekly mown grass plots, all maintained by a fleet of ringmaster old guys in golf carts who take their work VERY seriously. They personally escort you to your site and swiftly correct your errors (like committing the cardinal sin of parking on the patio.) 3.) The campground is a safe, quiet oasis in that insanely burgeoning urban jungle, is easy to get to, and is quite close to shopping and restaurants, (especially along Cleveland Ave). 4.) Though there were a few creepy male folks who enjoyed STARING, especially at my daughters, most everyone at the campground seemed to excel at minding their own business. Nobody was rude or nasty to my four children, not even to the earsplittingly ptereodactyl-screech toddler or the very obvious repeat bedwetter. 4.) Recreation: We enjoyed using the exercise equipment a couple of times. Ambassador also got the pool open up for the season while we were there and my family enjoyed it. They reported that somehow the kiddie pool was colder than the others. 5.) Office staff are courteous and helpful. We learned by experience that they are much more willing than local businesses to help you get a roll of quarters for their washers/dryers, so just go ahead and get it from them. NEUTRAL 1.) Be advised that the wind can REALLY whip up there. Our neighbor left their shade rolled out and left. We couldn't figure out how to roll it back up, and didn't dare touch someone else's property, besides. We watched it rip halfway across. It was such a shame. CON's 1.) Wasn't always happy with the wifi service. It worked slow. It sometimes booted you out or wouldn't let you in. Life became a constant dance of logging completely out and logging back in. The service was especially exasperating to deal with between 4pm and 11pm. 2.) Though it is kept clean, the laundry room gets really HOT. I should know because I spent a lot of time there (see Pro #4). The air-conditioning is apparently connected to another, larger rec room on the other side of the wall. BOTH rooms are always WARMER than comfortable. Opening both windows in the laundry room helped, but not very much. The TV also had no volume. Was surprised, considering the price tag we were paying to stay and "play" in their laundry room, that the maintenance was so neglected. 3.) The recreation area was also disappointing to me. It wasn't air-conditioned, the TV was not navigable.... B-O-R-I-N-G. Plus, for some reason, I didn't like it being directly connected to the office, without even a door for privacy and security away from the business going on. Maybe that's why we hardly ever saw anyone in there. 4.) Even though it ran out of my camper faucets fine, the water is SOoooooo SOoooo horribly chlorinated it's not drinkable. We had to buy bottled water the whole two weeks. 5.) The dog potty park is cute, but if Fido drops some brownie land bombs on the way there, nobody bothers to clean them up. Especially not if they land on the road. CONCLUSION: Would we stay there again? If we had to go back down there to that urban madhouse again, it's very likely we would. read more

High-End Park ~ Manicured & Immaculate Most recent stay was 8/05/16 - I'm "late" in posting my review ~ We camp in a "Tear Drop" style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area Our site was across the road from the restroom/shower/laundry building and one word ~ immaculate ~ describes them all. Their facilities deserve a 5 star, very clean, very modern, and laid out in large unisex individual & private "home bathroom" style rooms each with a sink/vanity w/mirror, toilet, shower stall, bench, shelf for your stuff, hooks for your clothes and paper towels to clean up area after use + a bonus towel bath mat for your feet as you exit the shower. Cooled by AC in summer months and heated during cooler months. Rest of facilities also a 5 star paved interior roads, all graveled (level) site pads all pull through w/extension concrete patio, & picnic table w/moderate spacing between other sites. FHU w/cable and in-ground irrigation sprinklers, and of course a sparkling clean swimming pool + laundry room. All this for extremely reasonable price $34.00 w/Good Sam Discount - believe me you will pay much more for much less at other parks. Be aware this is definitely a Big Rig RV Park ~ not a campground [believe no tents allowed and could not set up our dinning canopy over picnic table] but it can accommodate little rigs like us too. Only a couple of trees sparsely spaced around property most all sites have no shade so hot sun beats down on you ~ you'll appreciate your awning here. read more

Ambassador RV resort was a very well-maintained campground. We were met upon arrival by the staff at 7 PM and were escorted to our campsite. They gave us a quick tour of the amenities. They had a nice size pet area for our dogs. The pool was nice and clean and had an adults only time from 8-10 PM. The bathroom/shower area was also nice and clean and the bathrooms were fairly large. They provide bathmats for the floor. RV sites were easy to pull through and hook up. The kids game area was also very nice and well-maintained. read more

We stayed here for a few days and I think every RV park should be designed like this one. Plenty of space in your site. Lots of space to move your rig around. People very nice. Amenities are great. Easy to get to and back to the freeway. I can't say enough great things about this park. If we need a place to stay for a while, I'd seriously think about this place as a temporary home. read more

This is a great place to stay! The RV spots are level and on gravel with concrete pads and tables. The bathroom situation is the best we've seen on our 37 day trip. Super private and clean. If you are a part of the baby boomer crowd then this place is for you. This place turns into a ghost town at 8:30 pm. PROS: wonderfully clean bathrooms, the pool...IF and when you are allowed to use it CONS: NO shade - so you will swelter if Ada County hits 100, the rules about the pool - absolutely ridiculous - they are constantly closing it during the day for cleaning and even though there is noone in the pool after 8 PM kids are not allowed to cool off at the pool because then it turns into "adults only" even though there were never any adults showing up. Makes no sense whatsoever. after one day, I packed up the camper and left. There is just no hospitality here for anyone younger than the age 55+ group read more

Stayed at the resort the last night in June as the first stop in a 3k, 5 state trip with our kids. It was REALLY hot and the pool had issues so they had to close it the night before which was too bad but they had it up and running again the following morning. Unfortunately, we were leaving that next morning so we were unable to enjoy the pool but it was out of their control (staff was apologetic and wonderful) so I do give them props on getting it fixed quickly for the other guests. Resort was really clean, there was a game room for the kids, ice cream and bags of ice were reasonably priced and our spot was clean, grass was green, lots of space to move around, and overall a great experience. Very clean park. Liked the hot tub and pool. Added bonus was the dry sauna. Cons: Very dated furniture in the clubhouse. Wi-fi was terrible, couldn't use. We were close to the tower. It is possible to offer good wi-fi in a RV park, with the fees charged they should upgrade to offer usable wi-fi. read more

Not only did they screw up our reservation when we first got there for our 4 day stay, they screwed it not one but 2 more times! This was such an inconvenience that we could not enjoy our stay because every other day they were telling us to leave after 11am. No one is competent enough to change the logs or update the logs for each person we dealt with. STAY AWAY!! Rude employees that think they are holier than thou! They did give us a refund for the "inconvenience" but they should have actually paid us for their issues with staffing and reservations that is 100% their own fault!! My family and I will certainly NEVER STAY there or recommend Ambassador RV Resort! read more

Nice rv park by flying j. Pretty quiet even though just about everyone has dogs. Facilities are clean and easy to access, garbage oickup daily or you can take it to one of the two dumpsters in the park. Only hickup is that instead of having paved spots, they use big gravel - very hard to walk and drive in. read more

I went to front office and the attendant refused to sell me ice cream for my children unless I had cash on a very hot day since they were closing. She told me I could get it in the morning very rude! I'm staying for three days but may cut it short due to poor customer service.. ridiculous. My kids were crushed. I'm sure she could have charged my account the next day but was too lazy. read more

They are located off of Hwy 84 and was easy to find. Once we arrived, they escorted us to our location and provided us with our check in package. Sites were roomy with level gravel, concrete pad and a nice grassy area. You can leave your garbage at the end of your driveway and they will pick it up for you. Probably the cleanest, most well-kempt campground we have ever stayed in. The grounds were impeccable - not a scrap of litter anywhere. Each RV gets their own patch of mown grass and cement patio with picnic table. The individual bathrooms each had a sink, shower and toilet and were spotless. The pool area looked great, too, though we did not take advantage of that amenity. They even pick your garbage up from the curb in the morning! You can tell that whomever owns/runs this resort really cares about it. Will totally book there again the next time we're in the area. read more
