We have a shingle roof that is 10 years old and when built the shingles were not properly nailed…read moreonto the roof (thank you Chris Keefe Builders). Over the last two years shingles have been blowing off on the side most exposed to weather/wind. Don of American Contracting came out and gave us a very reasonable quote to check the entire roof, replace the blown off shingles, and re-nail other loose shingles. The work was completed in a timely (and very friendly) manner. He promised a one year warranty, and believes the roof will now last much longer (as it was supposed to last 25-30 years!) We couldn't be more pleased with the job or professionalism of the crew. (If we have problems over time we will update this review to reflect that--we are just now approaching the harsh Chautauqua County winter!)

Don't waste your time!!!…read more I asked for a quote, Don gave me over the phone then told me he would drop one off to me on Friday. He never did, when I called him back he said that he would the next week. He still did not. When I called him back again, he said he would start the garage the end of the summer. He went to North Carolina instead of building the garage and never said anything, twice. In October when it was to late to build the garage he offered to buy a tarp to cover all of my lawn equipment (which he never did either). I now have to replace things that were ruined when the tarp was blown off during a rain storm. Save yourself time and money and find someone else in the beginning.

He shows up, he works steady, sees things…read morethat need to be done besides what we started with, checks with us first and then gets things done! We are completely satisfied with all he has done for us and would recommend him. He's cleaned the siding, the gutters (inside and outside) painted the foundation and steps, power washed the deck and is painting that. Painted the basement walls and floor. Fixed up our sump pump and way more than we started with and I'm so grateful. He has a super helper ho comes with him, also Mike, they work so well together. Definitely a gift from above.

I can't emphasize enough how happy I am with the work Mike (owner) & Mike (skilled helper) performed there. They modernized a basement recreation room to make it a room that you "want" to spend time in. Previously, they corrected a water accumulation issue that had manifested itself over the years. It would have eventually caused severe damage if left unattended, but no worries now. They are punctual, professional, personable, and skilled in many building techniques. Super quality from super quality guys. I'll absolutely use them again in a minute, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Handyman Mike!!!
