The size difference between these two dishes is significant, and the risotto looks more like an appetizer, at least compared to the cassoulet. We shared the dishes that were both good, it was enough food for 2. However I think risotto was not enough food for an entree for one, and cassoulet was probably too much to eat for most people. All three of us had the same dish: the sea bass with asparagus and a side order of spinach. Bread and water were brought to us and no charge was made for these wonderful additions. The bass was broiled perfectly and the accompanying sauce featured chopped vegetables, perfect for the asparagus (both green and white). Everything, we all agreed, was superb. The waiter was a delight, the ambiance decidedly local with a wonderful addition of some recruits from the parachute regiment stationed across the road. The waiter made time to chat with us and proudly shared that the chef, his boss, was a Michelin rated chef. This restaurant is a hidden gem.
