From simple 'Bayman' or 'Come From Away' declarations, to stylized illustrations of the zany Rawlins Cross intersection, to an owl that says 'what?' instead of 'who?', I loved them all. I mean, Godzilla versus the Puffin? This is just really rad stuff in a really beautiful space. The rest of the shop is a fantastic mixed bag of unique products. There's more refined fashions for both men and women along with ridiculously good gift shopping. Again, this is not a tourist trap so don't expect too much in the way of coloured row houses, but there's plenty of other goodies ready to catch your eye.

Immediate danger zone - within two minutes of walking in, I had found two pairs of shoes in my size (8... usually impossible to find in consignment) and a dress that turned my head, my cohort in crime found a cashmere sweater for $40 and my mother chirped from each room about one thing or another. It's a great selection of stuff, with some great brand names behind it - they obviously have a good eye for what they select. It's also well laid out over two stories - well lit, clean and packed without being cluttered. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth poking your head in to see what you might find. As far as I could tell, it seems to be only women's fashions but I may have missed a section while I was shoe hunting through the store.

Skip the downtown bridal store (not naming on purpose - St. John's) and dive right into Ever After. They bring in dresses from designers that you were not aware of--but seriously should be. And they are always getting in new designs. The downtown store made me feel terrible about myself with their small selection of wedding dresses my size (which is pretty average for someone in my age group). This is not the case for Ever After! We were almost standing shoulder to shoulder at one point while waiting to try on dresses. There was no organization to the fitting at all, and because there was another bridal fitting at the same time, my group had nowhere to sit while the bridesmaids were all trying on their dresses. Now, for the dresses: I was told that this place had the largest selection of dresses/styles/designers around, which very well may be the case, but they have ZERO variety in terms of sizes per style, which made trying on dresses a disappointment/disaster for the bridesmaids. Given the price they're charging for these dresses, I'd expect more than having a handful of dresses in odd sizes to choose from... It made it very difficult for bridesmaids to choose dresses, as it is hard to judge what styles are appropriate/flattering when the dresses are either far too large or far too small, and the poor salesgirl is doing her best to hold them up/make them look like they fit. So bridesmaids are forced to blindly choose a dress that may or may not fit/look flattering on them because of the limited selection available. Quite disappointing. To top it all off, given the layout/crowdedness of the store, bridesmaids were forced to come out of the change rooms to show others their dresses in a room full of strangers, in dresses that were unzipped/hanging off due to the unavailability of some sizes. Additionally, the salesgirl had the nerve to tell a bridesmaid that if she was "uncomfortable with her body size", that maybe a different style dress may be better. I was appalled. Try not insulting your clients as a new approach to customer service. The only reason Ever After Bridal is getting my money is because the bride has chosen to order from them. I will never bring my business there again, and will advise anyone and everyone I know from doing so in the future.

They used to have the swap meet here on the weekend. I found some pretty cool things here like photographs from locals and some historic dollar bills. They have since stopped the last time I was there... The shops here are pretty much what you can find in the states (except for Tim Hortons, of course!) Parking is easy, the food court has some fun restaurants to try out, but my absolute favourite thing about this place is the movie theater. It's a totally unexpected location in the mall and their food court is AMAZING! They sell TCBY, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, etc to take into the movie theater! Film buff heaven, right there!

After 4 returns due to pieces literally falling off my bikes I called asking for a refund on the service and the owner Chris hung up on me. He claims 25 years of experience. I've learned more about bikes in 25 minutes of YouTube videos than his acclaimed expertise. Complete muppets. Please do you research and due diligence on these Muppets before spending your money there.
