When you make an omelette at home, it takes a few minutes to prepare. Likewise, a medium rare steak only takes a few minutes if you have a hot grill. But, you rarely see this at a restaurant. Le Bouquet is the exception. We ordered drinks, two orders of steak, and an omelette. In minutes, we had our drinks. And, I had barely taken my second sip when the food arrived.
My 8 ounce hanger steak with fries cost 14€, and it was tasty and well-prepared. As with other French restaurants, a "medium" = medium rare, exactly like I wanted. An 8 ounce sirloin was 13€ and was likewise tasty. Neither was a top cut of beef, but they were good, particularly for the price. The omelette, on the other hand, was flawless. Another French specialty executed perfectly.
Total cost for 3 people including drinks: 65€. Impressive. read more
