There were only three servers who were incredibly overextended, but the service standards were terrible (For example, not giving us a test pour of the wine to see if the bottle was OK, and just leaving it on the table - and not providing anyway to chill the white wine while we were having dinner; we had to work really hard to get a bottle of water with our meal, and then the waitresses would disappear for long stretches and we never did get a refill of it). We had two beautiful dinners on our other two nights in France, but this was just ridiculously bad. We couldn't get out fast enough at the end of dinner (In part because it took so long just to get the damn check, but also because we were so anxious to leave). The owner helped us translate a few of the French words we didn't understand on the menu. We each had a set-price meal. The salmon starter was phenomenal and tasted even better than the steak main which was excellent. The vegetable sides that came with the dishes were exceptional (a rare occurrence when I eat all my veggies). Desserts were the perfect end to the meal. Had pastry with ice cream and chocolate financier with ice cream. Both were very delicious.

They had a big party so the main dinning room was not available. We sat in the small dining room holding 3 tables for 2. The food was very disappointing, nothing like we had before, even the compliments of the chef were not as good & we only got one while we were waiting for our starters. Where as we used to get one after the starter, and one with the dessert. The presentation is no where near in the past. My husband had pieces of ice in his starter & dessert which was bizarre ! Food generally was very ordinary and tasteless. They have either changed the Chef or gone for a cheaper menu & ingredient The female waitress was lovely though, very welcoming, cheerful & helpful. Our total bill for the 2 of us for 3 courses, a bottle of Rosé wine and a bottle of Perrier was €105 without the tip. I am not going out of my way to go back again, shame.
