Part of a larger chain, with several locations on the French side of the Leman lake, the Evian restaurant is located just next to the Casino. Despite an amazing location, the prices remain relatively reasonable and the quality - pretty high. Overall, it's a decent place to go to and despite a cheesy theme is everything but a tourist trap.
The restaurant focuses on the High Savoy specialties - most importantly various melted cheese dishes, notably fondues, tartiflette and raclettes. During our visit, we opted for fondue and several small dishes with a central plate of melted cheese with charcuterie. The incredible amounts and great cheeses definitely contributed to our satisfaction with this place, but the wines offered on the menu, the mood on the inside and a nice and welcoming server contributed to creating a great overall experience.
