It's a great location! The crêpes (I mean - you are in Brittany) are amazing, from the well-executed basics, such as complete, caramel sale, to the more fancy and creative ones, such as Andoille-centered ones. Same thing works for their mussels (good luck finishing those - the dish is MASSIVE), burgers or grilled meats. As for the drinks, there is diversity - be it in softs (Breizh Cola), beers, wines or hard liquors. While I haven't had the time to sample them, this place had one of the widest selections of rums and a very, very decent selection of bitters and vermouths. The desserts - Kouigns - are pretty good, although not outstanding either. Beer selection is the same - very correct, but nothing outstanding. Overall, I preferred the Tom café just across the road for the quality overall and also the price/quality ratio, but Marie Cat can also be a fun stop once, just because of how much of an institution it is.

Le patron de ce restaurant est Sylvain Le Lous, il a de nombreuses années d'expérience dans la restauration, il a notamment été propriétaire d'un bar de nuit à Quimper (29000). Les gens choisissent de venir passer du bon temps à Bénodet car il s'agit d'une station balnéaire 5 étoiles, de nombreux touristes viennent se promener le long de la mer sur la corniche, chemin piétonnier avec vue sur l'océan. Le restaurant Le Café Foutu est retiré de la plage, il est au calme dans une rue adjacente, il s'agit d'un restaurant gastronomique qui propose des plats à base de fruits de mer et de crustacés, de poissons ainsi que de la viande bovine française. L'une des spécialités du restaurant Le Café Foutu à Bénodet est le homard bleu breton pêché sur les côtes du Finistère sud, à proximité de l'archipel des Glénan. Les produits en provenance de la mer sont achetés auprès des pêcheurs et poissonneries de la région, le poisson est prélevé dans la mer le jour même. Les frites sont faites maison, les pommes de terre proviennent d'un petit producteur local qui se trouve dans le Pays Fouesnantais.
