I had to rate Le Chat Bossu 5 stars because it was our 1st and best tasting dinner in Paris. This is was small quaint corner bistro that you will not want to pass up. Initially, we attempted to go to East Mamma's down the street but we were turned away because we didn't have a reservation so we stumbled upon Le Chat a short walk away and I'm glad we did. We were seated immediately, I ordered one of the best virgin mojitos I've even had (kudos to the bartender). We ordered the poulet fermier (chicken with mashed potatoes) and confit de conard (duck with roasted potatoes and a small salad). Both dishes were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. This will be a go to whenever we are in Paris!

    Very good!

Great place and find! We were walking along the area and stumbled across this place. Sat outside to people watch and ordered the chicken burger and pasta of the day (penne with truffle cream). Service is quick and our waitress was really nice. The burger was good and fries crispy. Thought the pasta could have done with more cream though!

Great ambience - this place is bumbling and alive at 9:00PM on a Tuesday night! My boyfriend and I grabbed one of the few empty seats and ordered the duck/mashed potato and chicken/vegetable stir fry, and shared a tiramisu for dessert: Pros: -Duck was tender and crispy -Unbeknownst to me, the chicken dish was probably the least French thing on the menu. With that said, it was cooked (not drenched, like actual Asian restaurants tend to do) in a light sauce and some ginger -Complimentary bread bowl was filled with pull-apart, soft pieces of bread -Tiramisu was the star of the night! Not too sweet like your traditional tiramisu, but filled with slices of peach and berry jam -As with other restaurants in Europe, there are no rushed feelings. The waitresses will leave you alone even after you've finished your meal. There is a clear emphasis on conversational dining! Cons: -Duck was a bit gamey tasting -Chicken dish had cilantro. I hate cilantro...

Very nice atmosphere, placing service, many locals. Limited choice on breakfast but tasty croissants and bread. Highly recommend

The place is typical French tiny eatery but the staff was nice and attentive and the food was pretty good.

The portion size was huge but the flavor wasn't wow. The noodles were lacking. The noodle isn't the kind of noodle I liked. I found them too firm. Tofu seemed to be over cooked. On the brightside, the greens in the noodle were super fresh. B had the pastrami sandwich. He liked it. Fries were ok. The decor isn't wow here. I found this place though google and Yelp. This restaurant had a lot of history and story behind it. Servers here were super nice and friendly. The washroom here seemed a bit creepy.

The staff is fantastic, they give great service and will always help you make a decision on what to get! I had their chicken satay, a dish I favor in the states and they classed it up! Typically served on a skewer these were thin chicken breasts, covered in sauce served on a bed of rice. So good! My favorite dish there, may seem so basic, but their cesar salad. It blows any salad I have had in the US out of the water. Hard boiled eggs are in it, a large fresh chicken breast, and all the ingredients taste fresh. I've had their burgers, also fabulous and their hot chocolate! I have never left unsatisfied and will be my go-to place if I ever find myself in Paris again.

(There are some other coffee shops in Paris that are similar in style, but if you *don't* eat animals and their secretions, any time you go to one of those "cool type" shops you have to settle for just a cuppa.) No! Us vegans want something to EAT, by jove. Thank God for Grounded. Everything is delicious and creatively presented, the hot chocolate is actually made with melted dark chocolate (um, SO GOOD,) and their menu is always evolving with the seasons. AMAZING food, guys. The two items we ordered were both SO good. We ordered some sort of toast that has almond butter, hazelnut butter, jam, and coconut flakes. It had the perfect amount of sweetness to satisfy a slight morning sweet tooth. The other item we ordered was the bowl of the month (or maybe it's the bowl of the week?) It, too, was wonderful, and so filling! Grounded is really cute and cozy inside, but I will say that it was HOT in this small space. Also, there isn't much seating in here. Maybe enough for 12-15 people. Still, the food here is incredible and the man working at the counter was so kind. Definitely stop in here if you can!
