When we came back to this area, we had been gone for almost 20…read moreyears, I made an appointment with the the Veterinary Clinic only because we had taken our dog to a veterinarian in Prophetstown 20 years ago. I don't know if it was fate or purely dumb luck but I was amazed at how wonderful, professional and more than competent everyone at this clinic is. They are every bit as good, maybe better, than our Vet in KY. I was so happy we had found them when we did because shortly after that we had to have our dog euthanized. I don't know if I am overly attached to my pets what I do know is I love them. They are part of our family as much as any of the human members are. I was a wreck, a crying, no I was sobbing, A sobbing mess and the compassion that I was shown by every member of the staff helped me tremendously. I am normally in control of my emotions so if I lose it I tend to get embarrassed. But I wasn't, not even a little. I can never show enough gratitude to the Dr. or the staff. As long as we are in this area and the clinic is open, I will never take my pets anywhere else. There is no need to go anywhere else because I have already found the best.

After dealing with the vet several times it became clear that they are more interested in making money than the health of your pet. When moving from IL to OK the vet would not write a script for heartworm meds because the vet stated they don't know where other providers get their meds, but they will sell you what you need. Really? I have to believe that reputable RX medicine providers build a reputation by providing quality goods, the same as the vet's office. This action places my pet at risk until a new vet can be found in new state. It is shameful that a vet will hold your animal's health hostage because they want to make money. This is a neon sign of complete greed. Bad vet practice. I would not use these people.
