After veterinary evaluation, he was later diagnosed with luxating patella, which multiple veterinarians explained is a genetic orthopedic condition. This diagnosis was confirmed through examinations and X rays, and the condition has progressed from Grade 1-2 to Grade 3-4 despite his young age. Since adoption, I have spent over $10,000 on veterinary care related to this condition. This health issue was not disclosed to me prior to purchase, and I would have made a different decision had I been aware of the risk. In addition to the medical concerns, my dog has exhibited ongoing fear based behaviors since coming home, including anxiety and difficulty with handling, which required professional training support. When I raised concerns and shared veterinary documentation, I did not receive a resolution that addressed the medical issues. My experience left me feeling that important health risks were not adequately communicated prior to sale. I strongly encourage prospective buyers to ask detailed questions, request written proof of health testing, and carefully consider all information before purchasing.
