I thought I needed to extend all my nails but I'm glad she gave me advice that I didn't need to as long as the nails are shaped well I can still get the look without discomfort after the event. I probably waited a bit longer. The place was a little over half full and all the nail technicians were busy with other customers. My shellac removal and manicure took almost 1.5 hours long (usually would take me about an hour at another salon, however, I did have to wait a bit in the beginning). My nail technician was attentive and friendly. I had 2 split nails which she was aware of and took care to cover them up. She also listened to how I wanted to shape my nails and made sure I was okay with the length. Manicure wise, she did a great job! My friend was also happy with her mani and pedi services. If you pay cash you don't need to pay tax. They do however, accept credit and debit as well. Overall, good salon around the neighbourhood. I struggled to find the nail salon within the plaza, that I had to refer to the Google picture of its storefront to find the place. There were a few other nail salons in the plaza, which gave me trouble finding Thee Nail Salon, but eventually found it. Parking is a little tricky depending on how busy the plaza is, but I THINK there is also underground parking? This small nail salon is run by two sweet Cambodian women. I had Theear do my nails. She was very sweet and friendly throughout the service and I had a great time getting to know her. The nail service itself was good, no complaints from me. She accomplished doing the nail shape that I liked. The reason why I am going to continue coming here from now on is because of the Nugenesis dip powder they use here. They have soooooooooooo many colours here that I was overwhelmed but happy. Theear also mentioned that if they do not have the colour that I want in the dipping powder, they can do a base white Nugenesis, and then shellac on top, which is only $5 extra.
