It was empty, as it was only 1630 in the afternoon.
We ordered the gazpacho, which was so yummy, with a few little sides to add into it like jamon, cucumber, tomatoes and peppers.
The beef empanadas were delicious, but a little heavy oil wise. I'm more used to crispier air fried ones. But that's a personal preference, and the taste was en point.
The ceviche was fresh, but a little shoyu heavy IMO. Back in Hawaii we eat shoyu poke almost every day, but this had a lot more than what even we are used to. I prefer ceviche citrus heavy.
The head server was very nice. But, as non smokers, didn't appreciate that he was sitting at the door smoking heavily upon entry. But this isn't my culture, so accept it, though it was a little off putting.
Walking past much later in the night, even on a Monday, it was packed and rocking. So they are doing a lot right!
Would return for the gazpacho any day! Even in winter like now.
The happy hour drinks we got were very boozy and tasty. We got the doble sangria and mojito.
With the exchange rate, it was still relatively expensive, but the mojito was done properly. Mojitos in the US are the worst. This redeemed the awful ones I've been having since moving to the states. For Americans, this will be game changing.
