My husband and daughter were SO EXCITED to come here yesterday because my husband had been waiting for over a year until our daughter turned 12 so she could come to the cafe. She just turned 12 last week and so with so much joy and excitement, they went to the cafe. The woman (red-haired) opened the door with NO smile, NO friendliness and even after my husband said with so much joy that our daughter was 12. Guess what her reaction was? She said, "Is she really 12?" She was mean and gave terrible customer service. Why would she start with such distrust when he just said our daughter was 12 and had been waiting for a year to come? On the other hand, there was a woman with dark hair who was VERY kind. She smiled and welcomed them and the customer service was excellent. She explained about the cheesecake, different types of milk, etc. We have lived in France for almost 7 years and are TIRED of awful service. Please tell the dark-haired worker she did a great job and ask the red-haired woman to consider her actions because it brings down your reputation. What a disappointment! Having experienced a real Japanese cat cafe this does not hold a candle to it. the cafe at least during the week was only open from 2:30 pm to 7 pm. The cats were lethargic and all sleeping until we were about to leave near 7 pm when a few got up from there slumber to head to the back were they are feed. The pecan pie looked appealing but that is were it ended. It was not sickly sweet like an American pecan pie but was more like a tart thickness, boring and without joy sim it up They do have a fee based upstairs coworking space which I thought was cool, perhaps WeWork could learn a trick or 2 from them but otherwise I will cross this of and move on Perhaps we were unlucky but if you do want to visit make a reservation and try to get to get there when the cats are active read more

If you are in the area definitely go. They do fill up and require a reservation in most days. We were able to get a reservation an hour and a half after we showed up, so it worked out really well. There is either a cover charge but as long as everybody orders a food or drink, the cover charge is waived. The chocolate cake was amazing and it's super rich but the brookie was really dry. Just skip the brookie. The cheesecake was also fluffy and light. Not what I would say a traditional cheesecake is but was really good. The cats are definitely filled with personality. We had several approach our table, but one, Charlene was very territorial. She chased off other cats and other humans. The place was also very well decorated, with cat trees and boxes, and various places for them to curl up in and allow you to approach them to pet them. The rules are, cats can come to you but you're not allowed to pick them up. It really wasn't a problem, as noted. The cats definitely approached us, Sat at our table, stole our chairs when we would get up, and we had plenty of opportunity to pet, and love on various ones. Great cakes, drinks and of course kitties. The kitties are friendly and snoozy, what's better than having a cat trust you and sleep by your side? I loved that they had a separate room where the cats could go to relax away from prying petting humans. A little outlet lets them in/out, no humans allowed (too fat to fit). read more

Let me start this review by saying that I have been to numerous cat cafes and this doesn't stand out much. Since it can be quite crowded during the day and the weekend, you're advised to make a reservation first, or you'll be first turned away at the door like we did, but there was fortunately an available time slot later. The cover charge is at minimum 7.5 euro (you have to order from a set of menu) and it was quite alright, after all - it's for the cats, right? We got ourselves lemonade and cookies since we were just at the Paul bakery earlier and couldn't eat more. There were photo album of the cats on every table so you could get to know them and learn a little bit about them - it was surprisingly easy, although they were all written in French. We sat next to a very sleepy Burmese that slept throughout the time we were there, but we got to play with an active American curl cat as well. We found out from the photo album that one of the cats was missing (got out from the shop) so this is why they enforced the strict two-door policy. The cafe itself has nice decor, which is probably boring for the cats, it just looks like someone living room without places to climb and play for the cats, a little bit minus from me. read more
