HangerBicocca is…read morea great exhibition space in one building and a second building which houses a permanent installation, "The Seven Heavenly Palaces" by Anselm Kiefer - incredible stacked towers of concrete. HangerBicocca is a bit out of the city (~20 minute train from the Duomo + 10 minutes walking), and the area feels deserted, but the art inside was incredible. Currently, there is an exhibition by Céline Condorelli "bau bau" which I quite enjoyed. Recommended if you want an adventure on the metro that brings you to an oasis of art!

From the moment you walk into the door, the staff was polished, professional...greeted our guests with canapes and flutes of prosecco. Then they get a tour guide walking them through the iconic moments of Alfa Romeo (the cars sell themselves...but the people made it matter). Then they get to watch a 4D film on the history of the car company in theatre style seating with bucket seats. Last stop was the Alfa Romeo Cafe...everyone walked out of the venue with a huge smile on their face, even if they aren't car lovers. Thank you to Francesa and the museum's event team for an epic experience!
