Although the problem was difficult to find, he persisted until he found it, disregarding the time it took. He then scheduled a series of urgent appointments (that made him work overtime) and solved the problem. The results are perfect. Even better: although he had to operate between the gingiva and the tooth, he did it so deftly that the recovery was practically painless, i.e., the gingiva remained without irritation. And to top it all, he did all this with a friendly and respectful attitude, which is always welcome when you have to establish a long-lasting relationship with a health professional.

I went to Dr. Collins as a new resident of Montreal, and had no clue for what a great experience I was in for. I had previously gone to a dentist in Chicago and knew that I needed a crown on a tooth that had previously undergone a root canal. Dr. Collins is by far the best dentist I have ever gone to. He made sure to make me feel comfortable and was very aware of how anxious I was about the procedure. He talked to me about all my options, never pressured me and took the procedure at a slower pace that I could handle. His office is gorgeous, and has a panoramic view of Mt. Royal and the canal. It is located on the 9th floor of the Transat Tower which is across the street from Parc Jeanne Mance and Parc Mount Royal. What a view! Completely different than most dentist offices, which resemble dungeons more than anything else. He put on a movie for me to watch while he was doing the procedure, it definitely helped me take my mind off of everything and eased my anxiety. His assistant was super sweet and chatted with me before and after, making me feel comfortable and not worried.
