The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals every day, which saved tons of money (restaurants in Montreal are expensive). The best part of the apartment is the gorgeous deck, where we spent every evening enjoying dinner, wine, and relaxing. The apartment is about a 10-15 minute walk to Marche Jean-Talon, which is the first thing we did in Montreal-- stocked up on tons of fresh fruits, veggies, local meats and eggs and bread. The apartment is only 5 minutes walk to the Beaubien Metro (subway), which we used almost every day to explore the sights of Montreal. The subway is clean and extremely efficient, and cost-effective if you buy an Opus card. Alain was a nice host (he and his wife live downstairs), and although we didn't need anything, he made sure we knew we could always knock on his door if we did. The rental process itself was easy, and he immediately refunded to us our security deposit after we checked out. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we can't wait to go back!

Nous sommes dans la chambre 120, là où nous avons dormi dans la nuit du 25 au 26 octobre 2024. Nous avons affaire à Montréal aujourd'hui et avons décidé d'y dormir pour être près de l' endroit où nous devons passer la journée. Nous n'avons plus les moyens de payer ces tarifs excessifs au Québec pour les hébergements. Nous avons donc payé $38.00 avec 1600 air miles. Le petit déjeuner est inclus au Chablis et est offert dès 7 heures les fins de semaine. C'est très mal isolé pour le son. On vous souhaite de ne pas être près de gens bruyants. Tout a été assez tranquille jusqu'à environ 4h30. Des clients se sont mis à cacasser dans le corridor et à l' extérieur comme s'ils étaient dans notre chambre. Une machine à café est disponible 24/24 mais il n'y avait que deux verres quand j'y étais à 5 heures. La réception est ouverte aussi 24/24 mais n'importe qui peut entrer et sortir de l'établissement dans aucune clé. Je n' ai pas pris la peine de lire tous les avis sur Google maps et si des clients avaient eu des ennuis au niveau de la sécurité. Notre chambre était assez satisfaisante mais le matelas doit être changé. Il était mou et inconfortable. Le signal du wifi était plutôt moyen. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la douche moderne avec deux jets d'eau si vous aimez ce genre de massage. Nous avions un petit frigo mais il n'y en a pas dans toutes les chambres comme la réceptionniste nous a dit lors de notre enregistrement hier soir. Je terminerai cet avis après que nous ayons déjeuné. Il y a un dépôt de $100.00 qui nous est remis le lendemain. Des photos seront ajoutées ultérieurement. The maintenance guy pretended not to see the bed bugs in the headboard that I showed him, and the front desk clerk expressed no sympathy and never apologized. The front desk clerk the next day lied to me about the manager's hours. I eventually got my money back but it took me hours on the phone during what was supposed to be my vacation. It cost us hundreds of dollars and the painful bites made the rest of our vacation sub-par. In contrast, I commend Expedia, through which I booked the hotel, who were sympathetic and did everything they could to help.

This motel is a great place to sleep for the night, as far as motels go this is the best I've stayed in. The front desk staff were incredibly nice and helpful. I highly recommend this motel if you are passing through on a road trip, or just staying for a weekend. They hold a fee, until they've confirmed you didn't smoke in the room, I can confirm this was dropped the same day,and parking is included. Not to mention an abundance of hot water. I will definitely be staying here in the future when I'm heading east.

So with that said, I have mixed reviews on different areas. The overall stays here are decent and I have been able to sleep without too much noise. The price is also good compared to many hotels so it has that going for it. For those I would give 4 stars for pricing and overall comfort. My particular room was a bit dated and didn't look like most of the Internet pictures and instead looked like a typical motel-6 or motel-8. The shower did have a disco affect which means it went hot and cold and hot and cold all on its own, cool! (Not) The service at the front desk was polite and very helpful and they also sell alcohol, snacks and there is a breakfast area too. The breakfast consists of cereals, bagels and breads and some juice or coffee. It's not a lot but it's free which is more than most motels ever offer. So, here is my rating. If I would have been offered a room like I saw online, 4 stars easy. However, since I feel a little like I was a bait and switch victim I am sticking with 3 stars. Enjoy!

I wasnt sure what to expect but decided to try it out. I am glad we did, as this was a highlight of our first trip to Montreal. We were checked in my the son of Louise, and their puppy croquette, and who toured the house with us. We got to meet Louise a little bit later. They both spoke French and English. Having learnt French in school, I can read and write French well, but can barely conversate in it unless it is spoken very slowly. This being the case, we spoke in English. There is also an option of breakfast for a minimal fee, which is a very good deal. On the first day, Louise made us delicious pancakes in the shape of a butterfly, and in a delicious fruit cause. This came with coffee, and we also had a toast of sparkling apple on the first day. On the second day, we had a yogurt with fruit, and these nice breakfast sandwiches. I don't consume cheese, and most milk products, so Louise did cater to my needs. This is an older house and filled with character, so it is one to be appreciated. It is beautiful on the inside and outside. That being said, this house also had steep and narrow stairs, so if youve got to be careful when going up and down, especially if you are older. This place is dog friendly. As I have an older dog, I had to carry my dog up and down, which can be a task if your dog is over 40 lbs. Our room, the Must, had everything we needed, from a sink, mini fridge, tv, a few welcome snacks, coffee, tea, Q-tips, bandages, etc. The room can get a little warm in the summer, so I'd consider visiting in the Winter or when it isnt the brunt of summer. The garden outside is beautiful and place I wish we spent more time in. Our stay was for only 2 days, and I really wish I had booked atleast an additional day. The B&B is located right opposed St Marks Church, and also had a park with a gazebo, music playing, and a line of bars. We used the bus and metro to get to and into the city. I didnt have to use my car until the day we were driving back to the US. This place is very conveniently located, and if you have your RTL pass, you wont need to bother with walking, taxis, and can take the bus from a stop which is 3 minutes away from the B&B. The bathroom was shared, but which was clean and which had a lot of signs encouraging/reminding people to clean up after themselves, and also how to, which is useful and very appreciated. If you are looking for a Bed & Breakfast experience while in Longueil/Montreal, I'd highly recommend this place!

This Hotel is the real "sleeper" in Montreal that few consider…read more We had a great 4-night stay here and it was a good value at $250 US a night. (Valet Parking is $40 a day--there is no self-parking.) This hotel is in one of the best neighborhoods in Montreal--it's like the Beverly Hills of Montreal area. It's also next to McGill University and Parc du Mont-Royal--Montreal's Central Park. It's in a safe central walk-able area and we walked all over from here including down to the historic district and river front. Tons of high end shopping near here. I would unquestionably stay here again if in Montreal--in fact I would not look at any other hotels. The room and bed were so comfortable I could move in here. In fact, the bellman told me that some people do live here part of the year. We got a room on the 6th floor that faced the front entrance and it was so quiet. You will not hear anything when you are in the room because I understand that the structure was originally built to be a warehouse with lot's of concrete. It was not originally built to be a residence or hotel. The towels are mainly first class, and it was pretty clean. I did find an errant hair one time on the sheet at check-in and the carpet needed a shampoo but the room comfort made up for that. The bell staff mostly were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. From the moment you pull up--you will not have to lift anything. We called all hours of the evening and night for extra towels and things and they came in seconds. There is a restaurant in the hotel we did not have a chance to use with our busy schedule. We had to really push the woman at check-in to get the right room though. She was a bit tiffy with us... She had us set for a room next to the elevator we don't like--she wanted to stick us in there. When we returned to the lobby we asked for a better room location and she found a quiet room overlooking the front I loved. Interestingly, she said there was a room available that faced an apartment building where the residents like to disrobe with the curtains open that she tries not to assign. If I was traveling alone--that may have been a good one? LOL Maybe they should list that one as a special reservation class on the AAA website. "Room with a Special View--no children allowed." If you stay here, make sure to take a few hours to walk up the stairs to the park a few blocks away and mix with all the locals recreating there--I loved the stairs and that park. You can walk, run, or bike in there. The one thing in the room that plagued us that we have seen in other hotels at times that never gets fixed is the fancy glass shower flooding water onto the bathroom floor. After every shower the bathmat was soaked and in a pool of water. We had to push it aside and put a bath towel down that would get soaked in the next shower. The reason it never gets fixed in any of the rooms is because no one wants to report it during their stay because no one wants to change rooms or have a stranger in the room trying to fix it. And housekeeping does not take a shower so they don't know it's a problem. They think the clients forgot to close the shower door. The only way for the hotel to check it is for them to hire someone to take a 10 minute shower in each room. If you just run the shower it seems fine--it's only when the water bounces off your body and the glass shower door that it floods the bathroom. That would be an interesting job! Anyway, don't hesitate to stay here. Great choice. PS The Concierge here was the best of all--he really took the time to orient us. PS2 Everyone in the lobby spoke English provided that you started with "Bonjour."

The room was beautiful and everything worked. I don't know how many hotels I have visited recently where plumbing and electrical items didn't work. This one was great. The location is perfect too. Overall, this was a nice hotel.
