Oh my oh my this was one of my best finds in Montreal. Every visit made memorable by a story or a smile of the two gentlemen there. Their chocolate collection is the best in Montreal, in my opinion. Their olive oil and balsamic vinegar collection put a smile on my face every time. I learned or tried something new every time I went in. My other serendipitous discovery was their phenomenal Turkish coffee. Truly great! Their amazing collection of chocolates and especially my favorite dark chocolates and salty caramels made the cold winter days brighter and my nice summer days sparkling with the fanfare of their exceptional hospitality and artisan tapestry of flavors. When you step in the store, brace yourself for a wonderful journey of discovery in taste, filled with laughters. This has been one of my all time favorites in Montreal. read more

Fleury is a jewel of on the north of Montreal. It feel like Beaubien, like Masson, like a nice variety of small commerces. It's amazing to be able to walk 2 KM Est or West on Fleury and be able to find EVERYTHING you want. Le Fouvrac is responsable for that in many sense. Marche Jean Talon has their Marché des Saveurs that's quite big and have lot of cool products but also lot of not so good one. Truth! Le Fouvrac is little overpacked and filled in with high quality importation fine products. Fleur de sel, Soap of Marseille, organic products, high quality and obscur candies plus spices oil, vinaigrette. It's just a place where I personally need to talk to myself a lot to rationalize about What I need and What I want. Problem is I want a lot of stuff in that little store! Fleur c'est un bijou du nord de Montréal qui a cette synergie, je dirais même «cohérence urbaine» que j'aime tant de Masson, Beaubien, Ce que j'aime c'est que si t'habites proche de Papineau, tu as TOUT a 2 KM de marche à l'est ou à l'ouest de cet angle-là. Le Fouvrac est en parti responsable pour cela en quelque sens. Le Marché des Saveurs du marché Jean-Talon possède le même genre de truc mais y ont aussi des produits un peu «bof» . Vrai que Le Fouvrac était petit et quand même remplis mais j'aime bien l'ambiance qui y séjourne. Cordial et sympathique le personnel est accueuillant et connait bien leurs produits. Ils ont des huiles fines, du Savon de Marseille, des soins naturels, des produits bio, des bonbons obscurs, du Chocolat fin, des produits d'importation fins. Fleur de sel, Vinaigre balsamique, petits cossin et compagnies! Allez y jeter un coup d'oeil, y rentrer me demande beaucoup de contrôle de soi pour ne pas dépenser une fortune - que je n'ai pas. read more

They have beverages, condiments, herbal teas, jams, mushrooms, mustard, pickles, seasonings and spices made with Nordic ingredients. I spent some time browsing in the store since there are so many things I want to try. I bought some spices and teas. The cedar tea is so fragrant and healing, that I have the urge to plant a tree in my garden!

The quality of the fruits and vegetables is second to none, and when they have specials, they have enough and don't run out. The deli and cheese counter has a great selection as well as great service. The bread and pastry section is very varied and anything I get, I loved. The meat and fish section is also very varied with lots of options for all budgets. That is for the left side of the Market as you walk in. The right side of the Market is more standard, but well laid out and again, a great variety. The service is really superb, there is rarely a lineup and you have a cashier and bagboy almost all the time at every counter. There is now a small food court to enjoy your food on the go and there is some live music from time to time.

Here's my stickler point: this is a service-oriented business and while I appreciate that the days may be long and standing isn't pleasant (I've done my share of it too, once as a supermarket cashier...years ago), employees shouldn't talk to customers on too personal of a level. I don't need to know your life story and I don't want to tell you mine. Once a conversation got sort of insulting towards me, it was very misogynistic and I was too surprised to do much other than leave.

Everyone who works there is clueless. Bad customer service. Horrible business. Who ships without a tracking number from Canada to USA???? And they have the audacity to tell you why do you need a tracking number. I mean seriously???? What kind of business is that??? Never again. Horrible. Don't waste your money there, go elsewhere.

He even snapped at one person who grabbed a side chair, we had one less than needed, with "I told you, you can sit in these 4 tables only." Nobody was comfy, even more so as a work group who tips very well. Clearly there's a dispute between management and staff here, but us customers shouldn't experience it. Drink was fine, but after all my friends had expressed about enjoying this place, I didn't have the same experience. Great layout, awesome selection of beers, but I'd definitely hope for a better interaction.

Just so everyone's aware, the coffee is great, the baristas are nice, the location is superb, and it all around is exactly the opposite of its tagline haha. Popped by here to enjoy a maple latte (because when in Canada, you have to have maple!) before visiting the art museum. It was delicious. All drinks were very good except that the coffee was lukewarm. I had said I only wanted a coffee if it was piping hot and we told it would be. Other than that, it was a fun experience as they offer games to play at the tables. It was clean and the barista was nice.
