Over the years they were able to get and repair the hearing aids at no charge. When it came time to fit the hearing aids the technician was extremely patient and kind. Recently, we have had a problem with one of her hearing aids and luckily we were able to fix them within a week and there was no charge. As I stated before mother is 101. Some surprising news from my visit to the Mark Lachance clinic yesterday after almost a two week…read morewait for an appointment. Met with a fine audiologist and ran the test before meeting Celine Lachance. As we started to chat her attitude seemed very cold. She looked at my recent test and two previous audio tests on her computer before pronouncing on them And her opinion. She decided she would not work with me in regards to my hearing aids claiming that they were inappropriate for my condition. Besides, I'd bought them somewhere else. She looked at them, hardly touching them and tried to usher me out of her office as quickly as possible. I kept asking why and she refused to give me a straight answer as she stood up to get me to leave. I mentioned the fact that I'd just paid 100$ to the audiologist not knowing in advance of her rude dismissal. Without a word, she left her office and returned with a 100$ in cash, threw it on the table and asked me to leave. I gathered my things, the recharger and hearing aids and left, The whole experience left me dumb-founded, stumped and disappointed. It seemed totally unprofessional and dehumanizing to me. In my seventy four years of life I have never been treated in this way by anybody but Celine Lachance. How could such a callous person be of any help to anybody in her profession? After I left I returned to get a copy of my test results which hadn't been given to me and I picked up a her business card. The final ironic twist came in reading the clinic' s motto on her expensively, finely printed card. At the bottom of the card it reads, " Where people come first." The opposite may be closer to the truth. Rudeness and condescension are part of the treatment options offered here.

I went to the Jean talon store to get a new earpeice for my $4,000 hearing aid. The audiologist…read moretook a cast of my ear and I left them my hearing aid which was obviously unusable. They called 2 weeks later that the earpiece was ready but when I came in to pick up the hearing aid they could not find it and accused me of not leaving it with them. It is now over 2 months and the audiologist isn't even calling me back. Deal with them at your own peril.
