The chef herself came out on several occasions and played the role of a bossy mom, telling you that you are too skinny and should eat more, which is an adorable touch. Then our main dishes came, and we had skewered meats of beef, lamb and chicken. They were a little bit on the dry side, so I asked if he had some tzaziki, he said that's greek/turkish, oops. After a rough first meal in the City of Light that was a €50 half chicken, my soul needed this. Everything is made to order right in front of your face, and it SHOWS. We went with a chicken and a beef durum that ran €9.50, which gave my Chase Sapphire Preferred card a much needed breather. I'm struggling to find adjectives that describe how good this soft flatbread was, and I'm rarely at a loss for words. The best I can come up with is "tangibly fresh." I preferred the beef to the chicken, as it almost melted in your mouth. So damn tender. Whenever anyone asks me for a Paris rec, Urfa Dürüm will be right near the top of my list.
