Franca was my babysitter back when i was like 8-9-10 years old and has always been a close family friend. My niece calls her "Auntie Freaka" (too kyoot right??). So obviously what you take from this review is your choice. Franca and Harry's 2 daughters also work here and there are other staff too that are just as friendly and just as fantastic. Tara and Louise (hair colorists) most notably because they're often here when I come and are also fabulous!! They do hair styles of absolutely anything you have in mind. They do make up and nails too. They offer a variety of high end products for your hair and cosmetics. The place is chic and makes u feel like ur really taking care of urself (like u should!!). They used to offer massages but the dude got hired at a bigger opportunity for him so he's gone now and they haven't replaced him yet. I have been getting my hair done here regularly for almost 2 years now. Despite being a family friend i do pay for all my appointments and it's always worth it. My younger sister got her hair done by Franca for her wedding and gets her hair done anytime she's in Chateauguay (lives in Ottawa). Franca will come in exceptionally on a Saturday for her preferred customers special events (family or otherwise). My youngest sister and wedding party will all be having our hair done here too in September 2017 for her wedding. She used to be a regular of Franca too before she moved to Edmonton and now says "I'm not getting my hair done in Edmonton anymore they don't do it as good as Franca, I'll just do it when i come back to visit." My mother, aunt and cousin all get their hair done here too. I don't think I have to say it: but i will obviously get my hair done by Franca for my wedding eventually as well. Despite being a family friend: Franca simply does an amazing job. She is always awesome with all the clients, not just the ones that are like family. In fact once you've been here twice you become part of the family de facto! I have been getting nothing but compliments on the colour of my blond and the hair cuts I get since I made the decision to just keep coming here despite living in Lasalle. The best part about this place in my opinion, besides Franca, lol is their fabulous coffee they offer you while ur gettin ur hair done....I sooooo look forward to it every 5 weeks (as per my standing appointment with Franca). It's the best coffee ever. Price wise it's definitely not the cheapest place: but their service makes it worth it hands down. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone...men women children... I would never get my hair done this regularly or by a hairdresser for that matter at all if i didn't have this place!!!

They really take care of you at Divine Lashes. They make sure to explain everything about the process of the procedure to you as well as ensuring you understand how to care for them after. I felt very comfortable and relaxed with them because they were so informative and answered all my questions completely. As for the eyelashes, they felt very natural even though they were quite dense. They never felt heavy or uncomfortable. For the wedding day, I only needed a little bit of a touch up on them. It was great not having to wear fake lashes and mascara. They turned out very well in pictures as well. Overall, an amazing experience and I would highly recommend it!

Divine Lashes worked looked super good and their concern for lashes health made me favor them over other places. As soon as I arrived, I met with Asako, I knew I was in good hands. I filled thw form and she asked me questions to ensure I would get a style of lashes extentions that I would love. Even if the first appointment is fairly long, the bed you lie on is incredibly comfortable. I can't handle having fake lashes or mascara for too long so I was a little worried to see how I woud fare with lashes extentions. I can vouch that you won't feel them at all, and Asako makes sure no lashes are stuck together. I follow the recommended daily lashes shampoo and my skincare as usual. I tend to be pretty rough, but if you are begin careful, you shouldn't more than a couple of natural lashes per day. The maintenance is pretty low, a couple minutes per day, especially if you just add it to your daily routine. TL;DR I had a fantastic appointment, was surprised by the difference lashes extension makes and I can't wait to go back for refills or another set. Thank you Asako!

Weird experience. I came in for a fill on my lashes. I was a new client and needed to look nice…read morefor a special event. I have had extensions for years. The technician took me back to the lovely serene table area. She put on the tape and the lights and then declared she would need to remove all my existing extensions. That seemed extreme to me but I trusted her "white coat" opinion. Once all the lashes were removed and I looked like a naked mole rat she decided that she could not continue and would not give me any new extensions. She said "you have an infection". I can assure you I did NOT have an infection. Even if I did, she could've and should've noticed this under the lights before removing my existing extensions. I am sure that Divine lashes will assert that she was using her best professional insights, but to me this all felt very fishy and unprofessional. Once a technician says she "can't" work on you and uses a pseudo scientific excuse as to why not there is really no arguing. It was manipulative and punishing. As a long time consumer of lash and aesthetic services I conclude that she was not confident in her skills to give my sparse lashes extensions and that she put the blame on me by claiming infection. My eyes are fine so were my eyelids and skin. They then proceeded to charge me for lash removal. I paid and I tipped well because I was feeling ashamed. My advice is for customers to be wary of this business. This weaponizing of supposed expertise is a cover up for having a limited ability to provide skilled service across a range of situations. The more officious the less able they are to creatively help make you beautiful. Try somewhere else. I did and they gave me beautiful extensions right away. (the lashes in the photo here were NOT from Divine but another place that rescued me. And yes, my eyes look red but that is how they are sometimes. It is not pathology) But Divine sent me away in tears.

She did three up-do's in a little over 2 hours starting at around 11am, and when I got home from the wedding around 1am, my up-do was close to perfect, as were those of the other two ladies with me.
